What the developers have to say:

Why Early Access?

“The game is already playable from the start to the end of a shift, but we want players' feedback to shape it. Early Access lets us tune the difficulty, the passengers' behaviors and the controls together with the community before the full release.”

Approximately how long will this game be in Early Access?

“We currently estimate that the game will stay in Early Access for about 6 to 12 months. This is only an estimate and may change depending on feedback and development.”

How is the full version planned to differ from the Early Access version?

“We plan to expand the airport and the job: for example more passenger profiles and fraud types, more situations to handle and a more active check-in hall, along with balancing and polish. These plans may change based on community feedback.”

What is the current state of the Early Access version?

“The current version is fully playable. It includes:
  • A complete shift from 06:00 to 12:00 with increasing difficulty and an end-of-shift report
  • ID card, boarding document and departures board checks, with fake or inconsistent documents
  • Walk-through metal detector and hand wand search, with allowed and forbidden items
  • Realistic taser, handcuffs, escort and holding cells in the basement
  • Pay per decision, 4-slot inventory, wristwatch with hunger and thirst
  • A living airport: shops, duty free, boarding lounge, planes and announcements
Everything listed in the "About This Game" section is already in the game.”

Will the game be priced differently during and after Early Access?

“The price may increase slightly when the game leaves Early Access, as content is added. Early Access players get the game at its current price.”

How are you planning on involving the Community in your development process?

“We read feedback on the Steam forums and in reviews. Player suggestions help us decide which fixes, balance changes and content to work on first. We plan to share progress through Steam news posts.”

About This Game

Welcome to the checkpoint.

6 AM. The first flights leave soon and the line in front of your desk is already growing. Your job: let legitimate travelers through, stop everyone else. Without slowing down the traffic.

Airport Security Simulator is a first-person airport security simulator. No menus: you pick up the documents, look at faces, compare, and decide.

Inspect

  • ID cards and boarding documents: photo, dates, nationality, flight number. Something doesn't add up? Refuse.
  • Departures board: does the flight exist? Is it still open? Was it cancelled?
  • Walk-through metal detector: it beeps, the passenger stops. Search them with the hand wand.
  • Forbidden items: keys, coins, phones… or a knife, a box cutter, a gun. Find them before they get through.

Intervene

  • Realistic taser: laser sight, two probes, wires, 5-second cycle, cartridges to reload. Only one probe hit? Not enough.
  • Handcuffs: cuff a suspect on the ground, they stand up with hands behind their back.
  • Escort: walk them yourself to the holding cells in the basement.
  • Holding cell: close the cell door. Next case.

Survive your shift

  • A shift from 06:00 to 12:00 that gets busier and busier: more fraud, more forbidden items.
  • Paid per decision: good calls are rewarded, mistakes are penalized.
  • End-of-shift report: passengers processed, mistakes, arrests, earnings.
  • Keep an eye on hunger and thirst with your wristwatch: coffee, water fountain, burger… or no more sprinting.

A living airport

Check-in hall, shops, duty free, boarding lounge, planes on the apron, announcements, passengers waiting for their flight… and your security office in the basement.

Every passenger has a story. Some of them lie. Find out which ones.

AI Generated Content Disclosure

The developers describe how their game uses AI Generated Content like this:

The store page artwork (capsule images, header, library images and logo) was created with the help of generative AI tools. Part of the game's source code and development tools were also written with the help of AI coding assistants, then reviewed and integrated by the developer. The in-game content itself (3D visuals from licensed asset packs, CC0 sound effects, texts) is not AI-generated, and the game does not use generative AI while playing. All screenshots are captured from the actual game.

Mature Content Description

The developers describe the content like this:

Airport Security Simulator is an airport security simulator. The player can neutralize passengers with a taser and, when facing armed threats, use a firearm. Characters who are shot fall and leave blood on the ground. Shooting unarmed passengers is possible but penalized. The game also depicts criminal acts such as document fraud and smuggling of weapons.
