Game Pillars

Labyrinth exploration: Explore and solve endless procedurally generated always different labyrinths of infinite levels in a fast-paced first-person arcade shooter game.

Online leaderboards: The game features an asynchronous multiplayer system with online leaderboards for players to compare their best times with other players' times.

Multimedia: Experience the game with both a PC desktop and VR through your favourite headset, feel the emotions inside the labyrinths in VR!

AI: Play against "AI", your main opponent. It is an alien AI that rules the world of LabyrAInth. It creates always different labyrinths and populates them with enemies, traps and more.

Game Objective

LabyrAInth will challenge your reflexes, memory and skills.

Your objectives are

1. To escape from the labyrinths in the shortest time.

2. Fight your way out of every labyrinth, shooting enemies and traps that try to defeat you.

3. Upgrade your weapon and character stats.

4. Compete with other players on online leaderboards.

You can only lose in two ways:

1 When the clock reaches zero.

2 When enemies and traps kill you.

Game Modes

• The Story Mode: You are the protagonist of the game. Try to reach the last level and escape the world of LabyrAInth. This is a single player offline mode, so there are no leaderboards.

• The Infinite Mode: boasts an infinite number of labyrinths. Play against other players to compete on online leaderboards. Will you reach the highest level anyone has ever reached?

• The Ranked Mode: In this mode there are only about 10 levels that change and reset every week, and they are the same for everyone. Each week all progress and items unlocked in this game mode will be reset to ensure that everyone starts at the same level. At the end of each week, the top players will receive a prize based on their final position on that week's leaderboard!

Game progression

Every level puts a greater threat on you!

You will need to upgrade your weapon and the stats of your character to succeed in beating all the levels!
Find the weapon attachments of the highest rarity to have the highest chance of survival!

Depending on your score at the end of a level, you will receive coins as a prize. Coins can also be earned by killing enemies, destroying traps and participating in online leaderboards. These coins can be used to purchase character upgrades, new ammo and new weapon components.

LabyrAInthVR the VR game

Play with your favourite VR headset in LabyrAInthVR, the VR version of the game.

In LabyrAInthVR the user interaction is adapted for an immersive and true VR experience, for example you will need to physically detach and attach components to your weapon.

We have designed all VR features to support any VR controller input, but we have fully tested and therefore we officially support only the following headsets: Oculus Rift, Oculus Quest 2 and 3, and HP Reverb G2. Feel free to contact us if you experience any problems with your VR headset.

Important note: Game saves and therefore your game progress are separate between the PC and VR versions of the game for the Infinite and the Ranked game modes! (In the Story mode, the save file is shared between the PC and VR versions). So, choose carefully which version of the game you want to play! Online leaderboards will only show the scores of players for the same version of the game that you are playing, they will not be shared between the PC and VR versions!

Infinite Replayability

The levels of the game are always different; you will never find a labyrinth equal to another, even if they are of the same difficulty: They are always different. There are infinite labyrinths of infinite levels. This means LabyrAInth has an infinite replayability.

We are a small indie group of passionate Italian game developers. We developed this game out of passion, in our spare time.
This is our first time releasing a title publicly on Steam, so we're giving it to you for free. Please be kind to us.
