“The current plan is to continue the Early Access development of Driftbound during 2025.

We don't have a specific end date for our Early Access, as this may change depending on how the development game will progress.

How is the full version planned to differ from the Early Access version?

“We are planning to have the full version of Driftbound include a more-complete, more-polished set of features and content such as additional enemies, skills, levels, story fragments, and fully polished art in every aspect of the game in comparison to the Early Access version.

During Early Access, our plan is to release a Major Update every few months containing new features and content, followed soon after by patches to shore up any issues.

What is the current state of the Early Access version?

“Early Access Driftbound currently has:

• An introduction to the world
  
• Enemy encounters and resources throughout the procedurally generated first floor of the game
  
• The first boss encounter
  
• One weapon you can modify and upgrade according to your preferred play style
  
• Placeholder art in various places

We have been actively working on Driftbound for about half a year, and we want to include the feedback into the development as early as possible.

Will the game be priced differently during and after Early Access?

“We may raise the price gradually over time depending on the scope of additional content we add to Driftbound, which would allow us to develop the game further with your feedback.
