為何採用搶先體驗模式？

「Since we are a small indie team we need feedback, we want to hear what works, what doesn't work, what needs to be changed, removed or even added. The state of the game can change drastically. We don't want players to expect that the game can only change a bit with updates.

As the current state the game is now, it is not seen as a finished product.」

「We are not 100% certain, but are expecting the early access period to be between 3-12 months.」

正式版預計會與搶先體驗版有何不同？

「We are planning to add more content as maps, equipment, sound improvement, improved gameplay for hunters and ghosts, plus content suggested by the community. We also want to add challenges to engage the players and give them more of a challenge if wanted.」

搶先體驗版目前的開發進度如何？

「The current state of the game gives the hunters a decent amount of equipment to use, some with different tiers, leveling system, player customization and a couple of maps.」

「Currently there are no plans on price increase, but there might be an increase if a lot of content is added for the full release.」

「The community will be a huge part of our development as the feedback will change the gameplay. This is stuff as map ideas, gameplay changes, equipment, UI, etc. We want to make the game fun for everyone while keeping it scary, so the community will be the main part of our development. 」

Apparition: Player VS Players is a 5-player asymmetric horror game where 4 ghost hunters face off against 1 player-controlled ghost. Work together to uncover what entity haunts the location or hunt down the living as the ghost yourself.

Level up, earn money, unlock powerful new tools, and customize both your hunter and safe house as you uncover the secrets behind every haunting.

As a ghost hunter, your mission is to identify what type of entity is haunting the area, complete dangerous objectives, and ultimately banish the spirit once and for all. Every investigation requires cooperation and careful use of equipment. EMF readers, Spirit Boxes, thermal cameras, Crucifixes, and Holy Water can all be the difference between life and death. After the team agrees on their conclusion, additional objectives appear, offering a chance for extra cash and experience, if you dare to stay longer. Completing every task allows the hunters to perform a final banishment ritual, freeing the location from its curse.

Survival depends on teamwork. Stay close to your allies, keep your sanity high, and use medicine when needed. When the ghost begins its hunt, hide if possible, or use crucifixes to fight back. Being alone is dangerous, especially when your mind begins to slip.

As the ghost, your single goal is simple, eliminate every intruder who dares to enter your place. Build up your manifestation energy to unleash terrifying interactions, trigger jump scares, and drain the hunters’ sanity before you strike. Each ghost type has a unique ability, either passive or active, allowing you to deceive, trap, or harm your victims. But be careful, overusing your powers might expose what kind of ghost you are to experienced hunters. Choose your moments wisely.

You can roam the map invisibly, listening to the hunters voices as they nervously communicate, throwing objects, setting traps, or causing eerie disturbances to drive them insane. Everything you do as the ghost lowers their sanity and brings them closer to panic, confusion, and death.

Play online with random people or host a private lobby with friends. Whether you hunt or haunt, every match is a tense and unpredictable experience. Level up, buy better equipment, and personalize your safe house as you grow stronger with every investigation.
