BNSF took ownership of 640 SD70ACe locomotives in total, making them the most prolific owner of the type, and therefore it is a common sight for railfans. The iconic orange and black flashes of these hard-working stallions make for a bold contrast with the brilliant Californian skies and rugged, desert-coated mountains.
