Jack Wilson experienced a terrifying alien abduction in his youth. However, his story was always met with skepticism from those around him, so at some point, he simply withdrew into himself and decided to dedicate his life to searching for evidence of extraterrestrial visits to our planet and investigating contacts with them.

Close Encounter P.I. is a first-person simulator where players investigate reports of strange phenomena using various tools and their own experience gained throughout the game.

The player receives an email from eyewitnesses, gathers the necessary investigation tools, and heads to the location, where they must explore the area, meticulously collect evidence, take photographs and video recordings, and make voice notes on a recorder. Afterward, they compile the collected materials and create an investigation report.
