What the developers have to say:

Why Early Access?

“I'm looking for feedback and quality of life improvement to add more polish to Sorter. This is a puzzle game so some aspects will be confusing for people, but in general, I want the gameplay to make sense and have the puzzles only require intuition and clever thinking to solve.”

Approximately how long will this game be in Early Access?

“I'm planning to get a fun, exciting, frustrating (in the best possible way) game in the next several months and try for release in August 2025”

How is the full version planned to differ from the Early Access version?

“I would like to have between 40 and 60 levels in the final game. There are around 20 right now. I would also like to add some more polish and quality of life improvements.”

What is the current state of the Early Access version?

“In the 20 levels that I have so far, the game is working very well. I'm sure I will find a few more bugs but the game is very playable and fun. I'm excited to see what others think of my hard work.”

Will the game be priced differently during and after Early Access?

“The final game will most likely cost a little bit more because of the extra effort that I will be putting into it.”

How are you planning on involving the Community in your development process?

“I'm wanting constructive feedback to help improve Sorter. This is the first game I've developed but I'm very proud of what I've made so far and I know that it will only get better with your help! Please email constructive, kind feedback to gunfightingyeti@gmail.com.”

About This Game

In Sorter, you’re dropped into a mysterious facility with one simple directive: organize the chaos. Sort vibrant cubes into the correct chutes. Build stairways, bridges, and towers to navigate an ever-evolving environment. Master the laws of falling-object physics. Then do it all again—only better, faster, and smarter.

But under the surface of this serene sorting simulator lies something... strange. Clues hide in plain sight. Patterns whisper. As you unlock new abilities and advance through each handcrafted level, a deeper question begins to take shape:
Why are you here?

Features:

  • 🧠 Chill first-person puzzle gameplay focused on logic, color, and spatial thinking.

  • 🧱 Build with purpose—use cubes to create paths, solve challenges, or just make something oddly satisfying.

  • 🌀 Unlock new powers that reshape how you interact with the world—and the cubes in it.

  • 🕵️ Uncover a hidden narrative—told not with words, but with puzzles, visuals, and implication.

  • 🧘 Meditative vibes with no timers, no enemies, just you and a lot of cubes with secrets.

Sorter is more than just a puzzle game. It’s an invitation to sort through not just objects… but ideas.
