About This Game

A Journey of Legacy and Loss

Become a traveling monk and follow in the footsteps of your departed Sensei, who set out on a final pilgrimage to restore a fading world.

With little guidance, you inherit not only his path, but also the responsibility he left behind.

In a world shaped by art and nature, something has begun to fade. Places once full of meaning lie abandoned, paths are sealed, and fewer people remain to remember what once was. The silence is not empty; it is filled with absence.

As you travel through shifting seasons, you slowly begin to understand what has happened, and what it now means to carry this legacy forward.

A World of Tradition

In this world, art is not decoration. It is connection.

Poetry, music, ikebana, and tea ceremony are ways in which people preserve the relationship between humanity and nature. Yet something has begun to fade. Places are forgotten, paths are sealed, and traditions that once connected the world are slowly disappearing.

As you journey onward, you will encounter fellow disciples and mysterious wanderers, each carrying their own stories, struggles, and relationship with the world around them.

Poetry Shapes the World

Your words shape your journey.

By observing your surroundings, you gather inspiration and form haiku-like poems that reflect what you see and feel. Through this act of expression, you will unlock hidden paths, open new areas, and restore forgotten places by giving them meaning once more.

Your journey also becomes part of something larger.

You will encounter poems left behind by other players, subtle traces of their presence within the world. In turn, your own words may guide, inspire, or comfort those who come after, creating a shared experience built on expression rather than interaction.

A Quiet, Shared Journey

Though your path begins in solitude, you are not alone.

Across your journey, you will meet other characters: Fellow disciples navigating their own struggles with legacy, expectation, and identity. Some seek to honor tradition, others wish to break away from it, and many are caught between both.

Through these encounters, your journey becomes more than personal reflection. It becomes a story about responsibility, connection, and the search for meaning in a changing world.

As you move through nature, gliding across rivers, valleys, and mountains, you are invited not only to progress, but to observe, to pause, and to listen.
