What the developers have to say:

Why Early Access?

“As a first for our experienced team, we want to involve the Steam community from day one into making the most enjoyable game we have ever made, listening to everyone and steer the game in the right direction.
We haven't had the chance in the past to listen to player's feedback before releasing our games and we are surely looking forward to it.”

Approximately how long will this game be in Early Access?

“We estimate the game will stay in Early Access for about 4-6 months, until all the planned levels and bosses are completed.”

How is the full version planned to differ from the Early Access version?

“The game is planned to have more maps with different minibosses and bosses, enemies, weapons and gear to upgrade.

What is the current state of the Early Access version?

“The first Early Access release is planned to have the first map, with its minibosses and level final boss. Mostly all main mechanics will be present and polished.”

Will the game be priced differently during and after Early Access?

“The price will increase as we add content during Early Access. Buy early, give us a chance and save some money!”

How are you planning on involving the Community in your development process?

“We are happy to read all comments on Steam and our socials about the game. Please share with us your thoughts, ideas, what we can do better, what we could add, what we could change, and what you'd like to see as part of the game in the future.”

About This Game

Terrible Life Expectancy is a roguelite horror top down shooter where as a family of Teeth Reapers, you fight hordes of mutated humans in the streets of a Japanese town using your weapons arsenal and inherited upgraded gear until the origin of all this death is destroyed forever.

  • Upgrade wisely: Choose your weapons for your gameplay style and upgrade your gear to improve your stats.

  • Make some bets in your favor (or not) before your run with your hard reaped mutant's teeth. Some sadistic folks like to bet on a Reaper's run, so you can take on the challenges they propose you and collect the rewards or loose a ton of money.

  • Every death counts: As long as there are members from your family tree still alive you'll inherit all your upgraded gear to be used in your next run, but you'll have to start from scratch if your family gets completely anhillilated and choose a new one with different traits.

  • Family matters: Choose carefully the family member you want to use in your next run because each one has their advantages and downsides.

  • Street smarts: Know your surroundings! It's a big town and knowing it as the palm of your hand is great for your survival. Some houses can always be entered and looted and each area is better or worse for different kinds of warfare and enemies.

  • Don't get too cozy: Different mutants of all sizes and bosses are waiting to meet the fun end of your gun, and altough the town streets won't change, sometimes the conditions of the run get altered by your final enemy: The Arkane Meteorite.
