Fight absurd hordes of mutants for the amusement of an unseen bloodthirsty audience and only inherit all your upgrades as long as someone in your family is still breathing… or at least twitching.

Welcome to a deranged TV show where death is prime-time entertainment and your family is the cast fighting for the main prize: A house.

In this town, your legacy is the only thing that matters. When your character falls on camera, their child, sibling, or suspiciously similar cousin jumps back into the spotlight, grabs their gear, and keeps the massacre going.

But be warned: if your entire bloodline gets wiped out, the show ends and only fragments of your hard-earned upgrades remain. The stakes aren’t just one life. They’re your entire family tree, broadcasted live.

Each run unfolds across a procedurally generated node map, letting you choose your path through a twisted season of episodes. Every node brings a different mission type, risk level, and chance to make the audience cheer… or boo.

Choose your weapons and gear for your gameplay style and improving your stats.

• Family matters: Pick your next family member carefully. Each has unique strengths, weaknesses, and long-term consequences. Genetics don't like shortcuts.

• Street smarts: Some houses can be entered and looted, and each area favors different tactics, enemies, and levels of regret.

• Don't get too cozy: Mutants of all sizes plus bosses that really want their own spin-off are waiting to meet the fun end of your gun.

• Cancelled? Hardly! With permanent progression, multiple families, mutations, branching maps, and wildly different builds, Terrible Life Expectancy is built for great replayability.
