„Empyrean Defense is already fully playable, but there is significant depth in balance, progression, and long term strategy that benefits greatly from player feedback. Early Access allows us to refine unit balance, mission difficulty, site interactions, economy pacing, and overall campaign flow using player feedback while continuing to expand the game.“

- An ongoing Playtest, allowing players to try updates early and provide feedback before wider release
- Bug reports and suggestion forms, used to track issues and feature requests
- A public game wiki, which documents systems, updates, and known changes
- A Discord server for discussion, feedback, and direct communication with the developer

Community feedback is reviewed regularly and helps prioritize balance adjustments, identify usability issues, and guide future improvements and content additions. Throughout Early Access, player feedback will play a meaningful role in refining existing systems and influencing which features receive further development.“

The battle for the Empyrean Realm has begun. A ruthless enemy commander has launched a full scale invasion, searching for the Empyreal Core, an ancient secret technology hidden deep within the realm. As the last line of defense, you must deploy, upgrade, and adapt a wide array of military, economic, and support sites to survive increasingly intense enemy assaults.

Empyrean Defense is fast paced, challenging, and deeply strategic. Success depends on quick decision making, smart positioning, and long term planning as enemy pressure escalates.

Strategic Tower Defense with Modern Military Warfare

Command a variety of defensive and support structures, from sniper towers and missile launchers to research centers and power plants. Each site plays a vital role in your defense:

  • Military: Engage enemies directly with a mix of classic and advanced structures

  • Economic: Generate valuable resources to fund expansion and upgrades

  • Power: Maintain an energy grid to support advanced infrastructure

  • Support: Research new technologies that enhance and specialize your defenses

  • Customizable Sites: Upgrade and modify key components to adapt to any battlefield

  • Diverse Enemy Waves: Face ground, naval, and airborne units, including powerful bosses

  • Player Abilities: Call in airstrikes, deploy protective bubble shields, and even manipulate the battlefield with lightning storms and blizzards

With 40+ skills across 4 branches in the skill tree, 20+ enemy units and bosses, 25+ sites to build and upgrade, and 15+ active abilities to learn, every decision matters and no two defenses play the same.

   

War Across 27 Regions

Defend forests, deserts, snowy mountains, and warn torn cities across 27 regions. Each region introduces new threats, terrain challenges, and enemy tactics that demand constant adaptation.

Story-Driven Campaign

Follow a progressing campaign featuring four core characters who provide tactical guidance and battlefield banter as the conflict unfolds. This war is about more than survival. It is about stopping the enemy commander before he unlocks the power of the Empyreal Core.
