About This Game

Blemdeck is a multiplayer deckbuildingdestroying trick-taking game for 3-6 players. Start with a deck of standard playing cards and transform them using stickers and stationery. Like the classic game of Hearts, players start with a dealt hand and each play a card in turn to determine who takes them.

Play Tricks

The first played card determines the leading suit, which the other players have to follow. The player that played the highest card of the leading suit takes the trick and starts the next one.

Can't follow suit? Play anything you like! Including cards that award Penalty Points to the player that takes the trick, lowering their total number of points. When a player has zero points at the end of a round, the game ends and the player with the most points left wins!

Blemming

Change your options by buying stickers and stationary in between rounds.

Ruin your deck by 'Blemming' your cards:

• Mess with the suits:

  • Cover up existing pips to reduce the value of a card, avoiding you playing the highest card and taking points

  • Add extra pips to make sure you take the Trick, giving you all the effects of the played cards

• Add stickers with special effects:

  • Invest in a card with the Treasure Hoard!

  • Let every card count twice with the Ouroboros!

  • Hand your opponent a Shaken Soda Bottle and have it explode in their hand!

Change an Eight of Spades into a Two of Spades With a Cherry On Top! 🍒

Ranks

Change the properties of your cards by covering up the pips:

• Add a Clubs sticker to a Three of Diamonds to create a Four of Diamondclubs

• Turn a Ten of Hearts into a Two of Hearts by covering eight pips with a large Snake sticker

• Change a regular card into a Queen with the Princess sticker

A rank overtakes any number of pips, but on equal ranks the number of pips of the leading suit determines the winner.
