In Threaded Dungeons, you will take charge of a group of up to 4 adventurers and tackle challenging combat while balancing resources both in and out of combat. You will meet strange characters, loot powerful items, and uncover mysteries forgotten by time.

Gain experience, unlock new abilities, experiment with different class combinations and configurations to find the best fit for the situation.

Threaded Dungeons aims to deliver a ruthless experience where death is a common - sometimes even an expected - occurrence. Despite this, you must find a way to push through.

Adventure

With a long-since-doomed world laid before you, embark on a journey of learning what came before and what is still yet to come. Discover places still untouched by the fury of the elemental gods, meet strange and dangerous inhabitants who still somehow survive in this world and understand the motivations and methods of the two factions who strive to drive these destructive gods back from the plane of mortals.

Classes

Each adventurer belongs to a specific class. These classes utilize different stats in order to be effective in combat, and boast a varied selection of abilities to choose from. Each class allows for even further customization by offering unique class modifications.

Combat

Combat in Threaded Dungeons is turn-based and unforgiving. Each character's fate is decided by two dice - one offensive and one defensive. For a blessing, these dice can be weighted by stats - either by investing in them before combat or affecting them by other means during it.

Equipment

Each adventurer starts with a class-specific loadout of equipment. These pieces of equipment grant different bonuses and can either be upgraded or replaced by more powerful loot found within the world and its dungeons.

Items

Provisioning for each leg of the journey ahead is crucial. Ensuring the party has enough light to keep them safe, food and firewood to guarantee periods of rest and combat items to grant an edge against formidable foes are all pieces to the puzzle of survival.

While such resources may be rare out in the wilderness, natural resources can be found throughout and used for crafting and upgrading different items and equipment.

The world of Threaded Dungeons

The lands where Threaded Dungeons takes place have been struck by a divine event which shook the very foundations of the world. This Unravelling saw the heavens tear open and let the elemental gods loose on the realm of mortals.

An eon later, two distinct factions have taken form: The Clergy and The Dwellers. Both labor exhaustively to see these destructive gods returned to the heavens and close the tear to prevent their return. The lands are beset by beings of lesser elemental divinity. These beings, dubbed conduits, possess immense power and are sought after by both factions.

Enter the adventurers. These are unallied persons who through great struggle manage to survive in these torn lands. They regularly get hired by both The Clergy and The Dwellers to fulfill various contracts, such as culling the myriad of aggressive species littering the lands, or clearing out old ruins and dungeons for valuable items used in their great work.

Resources are scarce and competition for them fierce. The hostile lands are ruthless and the dungeons that exist within even more so. There is no way but forward - ever unto the next sunrise. Adventurers, protect your Threads of life, or find yourselves drift away into the endless ocean of death.
