You were never meant to find this place.

Beneath your feet, or outside of reality, lies The Deep, an impossibly vast labyrinth of forgotten places, winding corridors, abandoned structures, and something growing where nothing should. 

Everywhere you travel has its own stakes, resources, inhabitants, secrets, and rules. 

You have no map. 

You have no way home. 

Uncover HIS truth. Make sure YOU defy your destiny, ME. Escape at all costs; you must return to The Light.

This isn't a walking simulator.

This isn't a puzzle simulator, either.

This is The Labyrinth of Sublime Terror Saga.

The Deep:

• Explore The Deep

  • Descend through a plethora of iconic and original Backrooms environments. 

    • The Deep isn't simply somewhere you're trapped inside. It's watching.

  • Learn the rules. Find a way forward. Don't assume the way back is still there.

• The Atlas of The Deep

  • A living relic that comments on your journey and reveals fragments of knowledge about the world around you.

    • It may tell you how to survive. It may tell you where to go. It may even tell you who you are.

  • The Atlas of The Deep has its own secrets, too. Knowledge isn't always synonymous with "Truth".

• A Living World

  • Entities within The Deep don't just exist as obstacles or for cheap jumpscares.

    • They wander. They watch. They hunt. 

  • There are no cheap jumpscares around every corner. Some of the horror comes from knowing something could be out there, and not knowing where it is, or what it's going to do to you.

• Your Choices Matter

  • The Deep is populated with factions, societies, and civilizations.

    • Some want to help you. Some want to use you. Some believe they understand The Deep. Others think it should never be understood at all.

  • Work alongside factions like The Deep Exploration Guild, whose lofty ambitions may change with new revelations.

  • Build relationships, make allies, and travel with others. Maybe some people who travel with you aren't who they claim to be.

• A Story Told in Acts and Chapters

  • This game is Act 1: Descent of The Forgotten.

    • Each new chapter expands the world, and can introduce new characters, factions, knowledge, all while bringing YOU closer to the truth of this world.

• Discover rules, hazards, entities, and ecosystems unique to different Sectors. There are no "Levels" here.
