Why Early Access?

“Early Access gives us the opportunity to get Brawlers Tavern in front of more players, to stress test and gather feedback on all of our existing systems. We feel the game is ready and playable in it's current state but lacks a variety of content. We aim to source feedback from players that will drive decision making for what we focus on during development.”

Approximately how long will this game be in Early Access?

“We expect to be in early access for up to 1 year. We feel this is a realistic time frame to gather feedback and implement additions and changes to the game as it evolves with the community.”

How is the full version planned to differ from the Early Access version?

“For our 1.0 release, we are aiming to build content on top of our existing core systems. This means a a larger world, more game modes, more things to do, a wide array of abilities and new outfit customizations, and more solo and co-op experiences. Cross-platform multiplayer, a regular live tournament schedule, and a UI overhaul are also planned.”

What is the current state of the Early Access version?

“The core game features are all built. Please refer to the About This Game "Key Features" section for details on what is currently included in Early Access.”

Will the game be priced differently during and after Early Access?

“No, the game will remain Free to Play.”

How are you planning on involving the Community in your development process?

“Our community will ultimately shape the direction we take the game. As we develop more content to round out our systems, community input will be valuable in helping us determine where we allocate our time and effort.”
