About This Game

Heavily inspired by the flash game Amorphous+. 
With your cursor guiding every movement, fight through mutating enemies in a uniquely-challenging arcade hack'n'slash experience. Each level full of dynamic enemies, events, and bosses demands true mastery over your action mechanics and knowledge, and there is nothing to stop you from achieving that.

OVERVIEW

You play as Brig, a researcher given an experimental weapon by her company's military division. She must cut through and search the nearby Anobrite nests by force in hopes of finding something that will end her company's stagnating war, whether it be a simple resource or the secret workings of a completely different organization.

LEARN YOUR ENEMIES

Mid-combat, T1 Anobrites have a chance of merging into T2 Anobrites when they collide with eachother. The output is consistent, depending on which two T1 Anobrites collide.


Each Anobrite has its own behavior, attacks, and unique interactions with the player's moveset. Learning how to fight each one (and even multiple at the same time) is as important as mastering your moveset when it comes to success.

MASTER YOUR MOVESET

Brigand's moveset starts with a simple Slash, Punch, and Dash. Each ability has its own properties and variants depending on when it is used, resulting in a large variety of unique combos and tech out of a simple foundation.

For example, Dashing into an enemy lets you Bounce off of them, making you invincible to attacks and turning your Slash into an unstoppable Spinslash. And those are the only I-frames you're getting.

OVERCOME A CHALLENGE LIKE NO OTHER

Brig automatically moves and aims towards the player's cursor. Additonally, your Dash is not a dodge roll. Every facet of MuteX+ demands mastery of unconventional action mechanics, but rewards you with a truly unique and satisfying arcade-style experience for taking the challenge.

As you clear through each nest and fight each boss that awaits you at the end, know that there is no artificial progression to rely on. Only your skill and knowledge will result in victory, and there is a learnable out to every situation.
