About This Game

AstroCore Mining is a colony simulation sandbox set in the depths of space. Manage a mining colony on asteroids, extract valuable resources, and meet corporate quotas or face dire consequences.

But this is not just about mining. Your colony functions like a nation, and you are its leader.

Factions at play: Balance the competing interests of Business (CEO directives and corporate guilds), Military (guards protecting the colony), and Workers (who may riot if neglected). Each faction pushes its own agenda, and your choices determine who holds power.

Multiple paths of rule: Govern through democratic councils, corporate oligarchy, or authoritarian CEO regimes. Each leadership style reshapes both internal politics and external relations.

Diplomacy in deep space: Pirates and rival corporations are more than enemies; they are political actors. Negotiate, ally, bribe, or confront them to secure your colony’s future.

Political survival over combat: Violence exists, but persuasion, negotiation, and the management of factions define your success as a leader.

Social order: Worker unrest, riots, and public welfare (from hospital beds to security forces) remind you that leadership is about more than resource extraction.

Meanwhile, layout planning remains essential. Design underground bases, optimize resource management, and maintain the fragile balance between survival and efficiency. Command ships, defend against raids, and attach thrusters to asteroids to advance to the next system.

With the new Political Economy Update, Astrocore Mining goes beyond survival and resource extraction. As a middle manager in charge of a corporate colony, you face faction conflicts, worker riots, and interstellar diplomacy. Choose your ruling style such as democratic or authoritarian, and balance CEO pressure against worker survival. Every policy you enact, every quota you enforce, and every deal you strike determines whether your company rises as a capitalist powerhouse or collapses under chaos.
