“lovebyte.exe is currently planned to be in Early Access until version 1.0 release in Dec 2026 (exact date TBD).”

How is the full version planned to differ from the Early Access version?

“The full version of the game will have complete features, content (including voice acting and one additional VTuber character), and completed storylines with multiple endings determined by player choices.

We plan to share patch/update notes via Steam, Twitter/X, and our Discord server.”

What is the current state of the Early Access version?

“GAMEPLAY:
- Voice acting from real VTubers (Roy Chiato, Banzoin Hakka, RiiKami, Kaine Knight)
- Customize your discord profile and in-game desktop wallpaper
- Unlock decorations and collectibles such as screen decorations or in-game digital TCG of your favorite game characters
- Earn money through various mini-games including identifying scam emails and selling TCG collectibles
- Uncover the identities of your discord mutuals - are they a fellow VTuber fan or your oshi or kamioshi?
- Meet, befriend, fall in love, or block 6 discord mutuals
- Unlock group chats and VTuber streams
- Manage your money to spend on superchats or VTuber-related purchases

CHARACTERS:
- VTuber characters (3): Equinox, Zeta, Calais
- Discord mutuals who are romanceable (6): Mink!!Mochaberry, Solo Lightracer, WizardPit, Pochima, Dolphin Daddy, Forever Frog

STORY:
- Common Route to meet and unlock a discord moot's route
- 2 in-game days content in each romanceable route”

Will the game be priced differently during and after Early Access?

“Yes, Early Access is priced lower than the final game price. We plan to raise the price at version 1.0 launch.”
