About This Game

M4 Tank Brigade is both a Single Player game and a Massively Multiplayer Online Simulation that brings great Real Time Strategy Action, Combat Action Simulation, Excitement, and Challenging play for players in the Armored Combat environment of World War II. M4 Tank Brigade comes from the producer of the Famous MicroProse Tank Simulation, M1 Tank Platoon which sold over a million copies worldwide.

In M4 Tank Brigade, the player gets to control both his own Platoon of four vehicles as the Platoon Commander and Command the entire Brigade with up to four more Platoons in Tactical combat.

The Player can give individual orders to each of his platoon members including adding way points, maneuver in formation, attack the enemy, and more. The Platoon Commander can jump between his Platoon vehicles or any of the other Platoons to set up his Tactical Commands to accomplish the Mission Objectives.  The Player and also jump to any of his 20+ vehicles to take the aiming and firing for himself while he sends other Platoons to envelop the enemy.

In the Single Player version of M4, players can command up to 5 platoons at once using the map and controls to give each Platoon specific tactical orders and then jump to any allied vehicle under his command.   The Player can use all 5 Platoons to complete the Objectives of the Missions.  Individual Event Mission Objectives are provided at the start of each player mission.

The player has access to over 50 different armored vehicles with an unlimited number of combat scenarios in combat arenas. The objective is to kill all the enemy and capture their fields for final victory!

M4 Tank Brigade Commanders can participate in online historical events held on most Sunday nights at 2030 Hrs, New York City USA time.

M4 Tank Brigade takes many of the great features of the M1 Tank Platoon game including managing multiple vehicles (up to 24), with the ability to call Air Power strikes or Artillery Strikes; tactical campaign map that allows separate orders to each armored vehicle; and the ability to jump between vehicles so the player is always right in the action!

Players can also choose to play ONLINE for FREE during a 30-day period after Downloading M4 Tank Brigade in the TotalSims online arenas. After the 30-day FREE trial, players can still play online for FREE with early combat Armored Vehicles including the M4A1 Sherman and the M5A1 APC.   Players can also purchase limited time passes or can set up a monthly subscription, to access all 225 aircraft and ground vehicles, plus special events and battle spaces.

M4 Tank Brigade is a simulation of WW II combat.  M4 is not an arcade game but a game that takes some real learning, some great tactics, and forward thinking to play and win!
