About This Game

SURVIVE

Each captain gives you a different way to face the same world, and only so much time to change it.

The longer you possess a captain, the faster they age. If they die, they’re gone for good. The world isn’t: what they changed, fixed, ruined, or left unfinished carries forward to whoever comes next.

Every life becomes a choice about what is worth risking—and how much you can accomplish before their time runs out.

DIFFERENT CAPTAINS. DIFFERENT ANSWERS.

The same wreck, shortage, enemy, or closed port can look completely different depending on who you're playing. Each captain has a profession that changes what comes easily, what costs more, and which opportunities are worth the risk.

You can chase the same goal with any captain. The question is what this one can get away with, what they have to pay for, and whether the time it costs is worth it.

YOUR HISTORY FOLLOWS YOU

Who you help, who you use, and who you cross can matter long after the job is over.

Someone you helped may open doors for you months later. Someone you burned for a short-term gain may close them or come back as an enemy.

BUILD NASSAU TO LAST

Build Nassau into a stronger base, opening new services, preparation, recovery, and ways to survive the world beyond it.

But what Nassau needs is often needed somewhere else too. Keep the medicine for an outbreak at home, or give it to someone elsewhere who may die without it.

WHAT YOU CHANGE STAYS CHANGED

Shortages, wrecks, opportunities, relationships, and conditions across the Caribbean can outlive the captain who caused them.

Set something up for the next captain to exploit—or leave behind a problem they now have to solve.

PIRACY AFTER THE APOCALYPSE

Generations after a supernatural collapse, the Caribbean survives on broken trade routes, scavenged resources, and failing ports.

The old world is gone, but people are still fighting over what remains.
