What the developers have to say:

Why Early Access?

“The reason for Early Access is that the game is highly suited for it. Since nearly all systems in Magnavis are procedurally generated, releasing the game in Early Access allows us to gather feedback from players as soon as possible. At the same time, with player feedback on the current systems and mechanics, we aim to deliver new updates and shape the game together with our community to reach its best possible version.”

Approximately how long will this game be in Early Access?

“Based on the mechanics we plan to add and the feedback we receive, we aim to complete updates that will improve the game and eventually move Magnavis to a full release. We estimate this process will take approximately 6 to 8 months.”

How is the full version planned to differ from the Early Access version?

“In the Early Access version, all of our core systems will be fully functional. For the full release, we plan to add the creatures, missions, and puzzles we've envisioned. Additionally, guided by the feedback we receive from our community, we aim to further improve the game and release it in its most polished and complete form.”

What is the current state of the Early Access version?

“Currently, our map, mission, and puzzle systems are fully functional. All of these elements are procedurally generated. The game features a total of 6 unique missions, 8 different puzzles, and 6 distinct types of creatures.”

Will the game be priced differently during and after Early Access?

“We plan to increase the price of the game once it reaches full release. Since not all of the planned mechanics are currently implemented, the Early Access version will be available at a lower price.”

How are you planning on involving the Community in your development process?

“To involve the community in the development process, we aim to actively use our Discord server. Players will be able to share their ideas and feedback about Magnavis directly with us there. Throughout the Early Access period, we’ll also keep the community updated with test builds and developer logs. Our goal is to shape Magnavis into its best possible form—together with our players.”

About This Game

A mission to complete, a submarine to manage, lives to protect. In Magnavis, your crew’s fate depends on your skills and teamwork. Navigate dangerous depths, repair failing systems, and confront unknown threats lurking underwater. Get ready to dive, stay alert, and fight to survive.

Keep your submarine’s systems online, fix issues, and prevent water from flooding in.

  • Engine Core: Single power source—if depleted, systems shut down and the sub explodes.

  • Machine Maintenance: Inspect machines and repair faults immediately.

  • Oxygen Management: If oxygen runs out, the crew can’t survive—intervene before levels get critical.

  • Hull Integrity: Cracks let water in—patch the hull and stop leaks.

Take missions from stations; each run offers different maps and objectives. Complete main and side missions to keep your crew alive.

Procedural Maps: Maps, objectives, and challenges are randomly generated.

Main & Side Missions: Main missions drive progress; side missions yield extra rewards.

Station Visits: Stop by stations to accept new assignments.

Rewards: Earn a fresh Engine Core and currency for each successful run.

Risk & Reward: Higher difficulty brings bigger payouts—but failure puts everyone at risk.

Caves are generated randomly each mission, making every run unique.

  • Unique Caves: New pathways and exploration areas every time.

  • Narrow & Wide Areas: Adjust your strategy for tight tunnels or open chambers.

  • Changing Hazards: Creature spawns, resources, and obstacles relocate on each dive.

Collaborate with your team to repair broken machines; each puzzle demands a fresh solution.

  • Asymmetric Solution: One player reads instructions, the other executes.

  • Machine Repair: Solve puzzles to restore critical systems.

  • Procedural Puzzles: Encounter new combinations and challenges every mission.

  • 1–4 Player Co-op Mode: Work together with your team to survive.

  • Proximity Chat: Experience intense immersion with voice communication based on distance.

  • Varied Creature Types: Face threats that hunt by sound, react to movement, and respond to light.

  • Player Customization: Place a custom avatar inside your helmet and tweak your skin color for a truly personal look.

  • 3D Sound: Enjoy realistic underwater acoustics with dynamic occlusion and environmental reverb.
