Why Early Access?

“We are a new studio and want to use the Early Access feature of Steam to be able to build a small community and generate some revenue to support our development efforts. The feedback we gather from players will be invaluable in refining all aspects of the game particularly the puzzles, improving the UI/UX, and ensuring the supplemental education elements remain engaging and effective.”

Approximately how long will this game be in Early Access?

“We anticipate the Early Access period to last approximately 3-4 months. This timeframe helps us to gather player feedback, refine the puzzles, and improve the experience to better align with our design vision.”

How is the full version planned to differ from the Early Access version?

“For the full version of the game we plan to include additional levels, enhanced puzzles with new mechanics, improved visuals and effects, and a richer narrative experience. We also plan to expand the educational "Did You Know?" feature to provide players with more historical insights. Additionally, for the final version we intend to include full language support for English, Urdu, and Arabic.”

What is the current state of the Early Access version?

“For the Early Access version we plan to feature the first four levels of the game, namely the Entrance Gate, Overgrown Courtyard, The Abandoned Chambers, and The Rusted Workshop. We intend these levels to include a variety of single and duo puzzles, introductory Time Keeper mechanics, and the companion's guidance system. The core gameplay loop, puzzle-solving mechanics, that act as an educational supplement are functional but subject to further refinement based on player feedback.”

Will the game be priced differently during and after Early Access?

“We plan to launch Early Access at a discounted to encourage early adopters and gather valuable feedback. After the launch discount period ends, the Early Access price will be changed to a non discounted price. The price of the final version of the game is planned to be higher to reflect the additional content and improvements made during the Early Access period.”

How are you planning on involving the Community in your development process?

“We intend to actively engage with our community through Steam forums, Discord, and social media. Players may have the opportunity to provide feedback on puzzle designs, narrative elements, and educational content. We plan to also hold periodic polls to gather insights on which features and content players would like to see improved or expanded. We hope that community feedback will play a key role in shaping the final stages of development.”
