PillowFight offers fast-paced, chaotic and silly pillow fighting combat where it's as fun to win as to lose, just like a real pillow fight. Features tight, chaotic environments where dodging is as important as aiming. Trick your opponent into losing faster by setting up traps in the maps by e.g. dodging an incoming pillow while standing in front of a fireplace or other sensitive object, sneak up on your opponent from behind in the few larger maps, and avoid getting caught by the angry neighbor in the stairwell.

Fight with friends or strangers online or with split-screen, or alone in singleplayer. PillowFight is designed for the short, quick rounds of gaming that are perfect for a party, a quick social gathering or when having a short time of waiting for something.

This game depicts pillow fighting, which may be perceived as violence by some viewers. Althought the intention is to depict fun, consensual, non-sexual, friendly pillow fights ending in laughter and exhaustion, viewers who are at risk of accidentally perceiving pillow fights as traumatic and violent are advised. In arcade mode, powerups allow players to throw pillows at very high speed, possible to interpret as excessive violence.

Some characters are lightly dressed (but not nude).

Some sounds such as laughs when being hit by pillows, or grunts when throwing pillows, and light clothing of some characters, may unintentionally be interpreted as sensual or sexual by some players - sensitive players are warned. Players who may connect pillow fighting or the occurence of light clothing together with pillows to any sexual or other trauma are advised.

The game also contains mild jump scare effects. Also, viewers who fear claustrophobia or suffocation may experience trauma by scenarios where excessive amounts of pillows are thrown, burying a player, although there's no depiction of death associated with these events in the game.
