Why Early Access?

“Wandering Souls is a story-driven game focused on atmosphere and emotional immersion. Rather than developing it completely behind closed doors, we hope to gradually improve the game through real player experiences and discussions.

At present, Chapters 1–4 already provide a relatively complete experience, while the later story and final ending are still being refined. Early Access allows us to gather player feedback on the story, characters, pacing, and overall experience earlier, helping the game grow into a better version of itself.”

Approximately how long will this game be in Early Access?

“We currently expect the Early Access period to last around 2 months.

The exact duration may still change depending on development progress and player feedback. We hope to continue polishing the remaining content while maintaining the overall quality of the game.”

How is the full version planned to differ from the Early Access version?

“The Early Access version will include the complete content of Chapters 1–4.

For the full release, we plan to further expand and improve:

Later chapters and the final ending
More story and character details
Improvements to presentation, visuals, and music
Adjustments to pacing and gameplay experience based on player feedback
Additional worldbuilding and hidden content

What is the current state of the Early Access version?

“The current version already includes the full gameplay flow of Chapters 1–4, featuring the core story, characters, and basic gameplay systems.

It also contains a large amount of original music, CG artwork, and narrative presentation content. Some areas will continue to be optimized and adjusted during development.”

Will the game be priced differently during and after Early Access?

“At the moment, we plan to keep the same price during Early Access and after the full release.

Rather than increasing the price later, we would prefer to reward players through free future content updates, allowing Early Access supporters to continue enjoying the complete experience as development progresses.”

How are you planning on involving the Community in your development process?

“During Early Access, we plan to involve the community through:
QQ group testing and player feedback
Steam community discussions
Development logs and progress updates
Small-scale testing and feedback surveys
