Why Early Access?

“This game features complex mechanics, so in order to satisfy both fans of the analog version and new players who have never experienced it, we need to gather extensive feedback and conduct practical testing from a wide range of users.”

Approximately how long will this game be in Early Access?

“About 1 year. We aim to complete the game roughly within a year after the start of Early Access.”

How is the full version planned to differ from the Early Access version?

“In the Early Access version, the graphics and visual effects are relatively simplified.
We plan to gradually enhance the visual effects in future updates and may also consider supporting the Steam Workshop and ranked battle features.”

What is the current state of the Early Access version?

“Currently, the Early Access version supports CPU battles, single-player battle challenges, and online PVP battles. In the future, we plan to periodically release additional test characters, new stages for battle challenges, and a MOD creation guide for the Creative Workshop.”

Will the game be priced differently during and after Early Access?

“We plan to gradually raise the price as we ship new content and features.”

How are you planning on involving the Community in your development process?

“We will gather feedback and issue reports through the official Discord to improve in-game problems and optimize translations in various languages. In addition, we will regularly publish a roadmap detailing the development process.”

We are fans of Sakura Arms from the community. The digital version originated from our open-source battle simulator developed for the Sakura Arms community.
In 2024, we obtained commercial licensing authorization from BakaFire Party and completely rebuilt the original version, adding many new features.

About This Game

Sakura Arms is a highly acclaimed real-time deck-building card battle game, released in 2016 by BakaFire Party. Since its debut, the board game has captivated players with its strategic depth, artistic style, and replayability. To date, the series has launched over 10 expansion sets, featuring a total of 26 playable characters. 

This digital edition was developed as a derivative work, created with the official authorization and supervision of BakaFire Party, and is now officially available on Steam. It now features interactive tutorials, extensive AI battle training, and a global online battle platform.

Step into the world of Sakura Arms — 

A world where the sacred cherry trees, Kamukura Sakura, and many Megami (goddesses) dwelling within it coexist alongside humanity.

Here, battles called Sakura Duels are fought for honor and desire.

Those gifted with supernatural powers are known as Mikoto. Through the blossoms, they can channel the power of the Megami  — and you are one of them.

Each Megami wields a distinct weapon art: Kartana, Ninjutsu, Scroll, Arquebus, Karakuri, Scythe, Flag ... each an unique battle style.

  • Twin Megami Synergy - Before each duel, you will choose two Megami to fight alongside. Each Megami possesses 11 unique cards, and the combinations between their decks can create limitless strategic possibilities.

  • Real-time Deckbuilding - Reveal your chosen Megami, then build your deck based on your opponent’s picks — 7 standard cards and 3 special cards. See through your opponent’s strategy and counter their moves!

  • Duel in Falling Petals -  The petal-shaped Sakura Crystals are important resources; master their flow, control the rhythm of offense and defense.
