In NeverLight, you are a hunter who lives in a small camp of desperate inhabitants, venturing into the shadows to hunt monsters for bounty and gather materials to sustain your people. Navigate treacherous lands filled with creatures, rival hunters, and hidden riches in this high-stakes battle where death lurks in every shadow.

Explore vast post-apocalyptic lands where every shadow conceals danger or reward. Extinguish torches to move unseen, shove obstacles to create new paths, and trigger ancient mechanisms that transform the environment. Break through crumbling walls to discover secret passages, lure enemies into deadly traps, and use the surroundings as weapons against your foes. Every area tells a story through environmental clues, forgotten relics, and mysterious inscriptions that reveal the secrets of a world under a dying sun.

Hunt alone or team up with 1 or 2 friends to face the dangers together. Every expedition features randomized scenarios and events, and pits you against other players in violent competition for limited resources. Kill rival hunters to claim their gear, forge temporary alliances, or avoid combat entirely — the choice is yours. Solo players can use stealth and cunning, while teams can coordinate attacks and cover more ground.

Catching your bounty is only half the battle — you must extract to safety with your bounty to collect your reward. As time passes, the safe zone shrinks and extraction points appear randomly throughout the map. Race against other players to locate and activate these points before the final collapse claims everyone. Death means losing everything you've gathered, so choose wisely between pressing deeper for better rewards or extracting early with what you've already found.

Between hunts, develop your camp to craft better equipment, brew potions, trade with other survivors, and prepare for future expeditions. Discover and collect Ability during your adventures to build a personalized deck of powers. Mix and match active spells and passive abilities to create your perfect combat style, adapting your strategy to overcome any challenge the dying light throws at you.
