You are a dolphin and whale communication scientist, contracted by the NSA to decipher an alien message from space. Use visual programming to process the signal, translate it to a human language, and interpret its meaning. All the science is REAL, including a realistic and complex alien language.

About This Game

You are Dr. Sophia Estrella Delmar, a marine biologist who has spent her career finding patterns in noise: the calls of whales and dolphins, the most linguistically complex creatures on Earth. When the NSA detects an intelligent alien signal at 1420MHz, the hydrogen line, they bring you in. You're the closest thing the planet has to an expert in languages that didn't start with humans.

1420MHz is a knowledge progression puzzle game. Your task: extract a transmission from deep space, reverse-engineer the language it's written in, and figure out what it means.

Process the Signal

Build your own digital signal processing tools on a visual flowchart interface. No prior knowledge required. Connect blocks, filter out noise, and lock onto the carrier wave. The tools are yours to construct. The signal is waiting.

Translate the Language

The extracted symbols mean nothing yet. Analyze their frequency and distribution to find word boundaries, identify phonemes, and map out grammar. You're not translating from a known language. You're reconstructing one from scratch.

Interpret the Meaning

The message was designed to be understood. It starts with mathematics, then physics, building a shared vocabulary from first principles. Each decoded layer unlocks the next. Every breakthrough is earned.

Discover the Truth

Buried at the heart of the transmission is a question. Not a threat. Not a greeting. A question. One the message was constructed, from the very first symbol, to ask.

Real Science, No PhD Required

Every system in 1420MHz covers real science: the signal processing, the linguistics, and the mathematics. The visual interface makes sophisticated analysis approachable for anyone. The challenge isn't the tools. It's what the message says.
