What the developers have to say:

Why Early Access?

“The decision to launch in Early Access stems from the fact that I am developing the game entirely on my own. I want to involve players in the development process so I can gather ongoing feedback, fix bugs, and properly balance the gameplay. An outside perspective and community suggestions are crucial for me to create the best, most polished final product possible.”

Approximately how long will this game be in Early Access?

“It is difficult for me to estimate this precisely right now, as I am a solo developer. The game is already fully playable, but I still have a lot of work ahead of me regarding the visuals and polishing the details. I anticipate that Early Access will last about 4 - 6 months, though ultimately it depends on how long it takes to bring the graphics and content up to a standard I am fully satisfied with.”

How is the full version planned to differ from the Early Access version?

“The full version will feature, above all, complete and significantly more polished visuals. In addition, I plan to implement:
More content (e.g., [new levels / items / characters]).
Ideas and improvements suggested by the community.
Final optimization and the elimination of bugs discovered during Early Access.”

What is the current state of the Early Access version?

“The game is already fully playable and includes all core gameplay mechanics. Players can fully experience the main gameplay loop. Currently, the main missing element is the final visual presentation - many visual assets still require work, replacement, or refinement.”

Will the game be priced differently during and after Early Access?

“Yes, I plan to slightly raise the game's price upon the release of the full version. The lower Early Access price is a way of thanking players for their trust, support, and help in developing the project.”

How are you planning on involving the Community in your development process?

“I intend to actively engage with the community, primarily through [Steam Community Forums / a dedicated Discord server / social media].
I will regularly post updates on the game's progress.
I encourage players to report bugs, share feedback on game balance, and suggest their own ideas.
As an independent developer, every piece of feedback is invaluable to me and will have a real impact on the final shape of the game.”

About This Game

A desperate father. A mysterious illness. A job you can't afford to lose.

A strange lung disease is sweeping through the town, and your son is its latest victim. Rumors point to the secretive research facility on the outskirts of the city, but right now, the truth doesn't pay the medical bills. You need money, fast. Desperate, you take a high-paying job as a gatekeeper at that exact same laboratory.

Your job is simple: decide who enters the facility and who gets turned away. But the people trying to get inside aren't always who they claim to be.

Do Your Job Every day brings a new shift, new rules, and a line of people waiting at your window. You are the only line of defense.

  • Verify Credentials: Check ID cards against the lab's computer database. Make sure the face matches the photo.

  • Inspect Belongings: Search their inventory. Carrying a weapon? They better have a valid license, or they're an impostor.

  • Follow Orders: The boss calls every morning with new directives. "No guests today." "All staff must be searched." Pay attention, because missing a detail will cost you.

Evolving Threats As the days pass, the impostors get smarter. You'll need to use every tool at your disposal to catch them:

  • The Daily Paper: Read the morning news to spot wanted suspects based on obscure clues (e.g., Wanted: John O. Known watch collector).

  • Security Tools: Utilize an ID scanner to catch visual forgeries, and use a metal detector to find hidden contraband that isn't declared in their inventory.

The Cost of Failure This isn't just about keeping the lab safe; it's about keeping your son alive. At the end of every shift, you balance your daily budget. You'll receive letters from your wife updating you on your son's condition—if you're making enough money, there's hope. If you fail to do your job and your pay gets docked, his health will deteriorate.

But whatever you do, don't get careless. If you let three impostors slip through in a single shift, you won't just be fired. You'll be eliminated.

Features:

  • 25 Days of Tension: Survive a month of shifting rules, escalating difficulty, and daily pressure.

  • Spot the Difference: Cross-reference IDs, verify photos, and check inventories to catch clever impostors.

  • Meaningful Consequences: Your daily earnings directly affect your son's health, told through emotional letters from home.

  • Multiple Endings: Will you earn enough to save your son? Will you fail your family? Or will you get yourself killed on the job?
