History is shaped by rulers, wars, and eras, but it is also borne by the ordinary people caught within them.

Chronicles of Humanity is an expanding anthology of historical narrative visual novels. The free base app provides a shared world atlas, story entry, and content management. Cross regions and eras, choose the story that interests you, and enter a standalone cast, conflict, and fate.

Limited samples from the first six stories are available only in the Steam Demo attached to Chronicles of Humanity. The release version of the base app does not include these sample chapters. Once you acquire and install a complete story DLC, you can launch the full campaign from the same atlas node in the release version.

Change a human fate within the boundaries of history

You cannot overturn recorded history with a single option. You can decide how an order is carried out, whether someone is protected, whether a relationship breaks, and how much of the truth remains visible to those who come later.

A choice does not stop mattering when the next line of dialogue appears.

Judgment, trust, allegiance, cost, and the records you leave behind continue to accumulate. Some consequences appear at once; others emerge across later chapters, relationships, and final endings.

You may not change the direction of an era, but you may change how one person is remembered by it.

Court intrigue, military decisions, historical fantasy, personal lives inside war, postwar growth, and mysteries of identity share one world atlas without being reduced to the same story or play structure.

Every title has its own narrative, cast, visual style, choice variables, and ending structure. There is no required play order; choose by era, region, or subject.

The free base app includes

• An expandable world atlas with regional maps and story nodes

• A shared interface for story entry and content management

• Detection and launching of installed DLC, plus return-to-atlas support

• Expansion points for future announced stories and DLC

The release version of the base app does not include the six demos or any complete paid story DLC.

The Steam Demo for the base app includes

• One limited playable sample from each of the first six stories

• Visual-novel reading, choice, and settings interfaces used for those samples

• A return to the world atlas after each sample

These six demos exist only in the Steam Demo for the base app. They are not included in the release version or in any complete story DLC.

How the base app, Steam Demo, and complete story DLC work

Download the Steam Demo for Chronicles of Humanity, then select a story node on the atlas to enter its limited sample. Each sample introduces that story's setting, principal characters, central conflict, and choice design.

In the release version, the atlas presents available stories, detects installed content, and launches complete campaigns. After you acquire and install a complete story DLC, the corresponding node opens the full campaign. A complete story DLC contains its full campaign and does not include a duplicate demo.

You will make decisions with incomplete information, conflicting testimony, political pressure, or scarce resources. What you know may not be the truth. What you carry out may not match the original meaning of an order. A choice that seems right now may reveal its real cost much later.

An anthology that can keep unfolding

Chronicles of Humanity is not one timeline that must be played from beginning to end. It is an anthology that connects different people and eras through a world atlas.

New stories can continue to join the collection, while released stories provide their complete campaigns through independent DLC. Use the base app's Steam Demo to discover the first six stories, or use the release version to enter a complete story you own and follow its characters from their first decision to their final ending.
