Why Early Access?

“The game itself is completely ready and runs smoothly.
The main reason for early access is that there is no tutorial level yet, and I am planning to make more maps and add gameplay achievements.

Please understand that I work alone and at the moment I am a full-time student, so development speed may vary, but it will happen!”

“I expect it to be in Early Access for between 4 to 12 months.”

“Unserious Sandbox is expected to be improved in the following:
- Gameplay Achievements.
- More playable maps.”

“The game is completely gameplay-ready. Currently, there are a few traversal maps available for players to beat and set their own records, and there are some unlockable content for completing certain maps. Moving on forward, I plan to make more maps and possibly new game modes.”

“There is no plan to change price at the moment.”

About This Game

Unserious Sandbox is a single-player casual game with some unserious parkour, just the player's movement, traversing abstract worlds.

Traversal

There are two traversal modes: Parkour and Traverse. Parkour enables strafing, whereas Traverse allows wall-running. In both modes, traversal moves are picked dynamically based on movement trajectory upon traversal attempt. In both modes, the goal is the same: Set your own record, then challenge it. Smooth traversal is all about pace and timing. It may look easy, but it's not. Feel the momentum, and find your own flow.

Ragdoll Physics

On-demand ragdoll physics simulation in sandbox maps. Embrace the chaos and master the art of falling flat!

Beyond Sandbox

Unserious Sandbox is a toy box, collecting fragments from other worlds. It may be empty right now, but surely, one day it'll fill. Do whatever, play however... The Sandbox is just unserious, after all.
