What the developers have to say:

Why Early Access?

“As the game is made by a solo developer, a longer stretch of playtesting and feedback will greatly benefit the design. Through co-development with the public, RoadHouse Manager can become all that it can be and vastly improved. Feedback will determine what content or design changes will complete the game. ”

Approximately how long will this game be in Early Access?

“Roughly six months to ten months is anticipated. ”

How is the full version planned to differ from the Early Access version?

“The early access version will be feature complete of Act 1 and Act 2 of the game. The planned third Act has additional content, the final boss battles, secret areas, and much more polish. ”

What is the current state of the Early Access version?

“The game is feature complete and will give the full RoadHouse Manager experience to players, but Act 2 is an 'endless mode' which does not have a resolution, or continuation of the narrative that concludes in Act 3. ”

Will the game be priced differently during and after Early Access?

“It is planned that the starting price will be the lowest price it will ever be, and increase over time as the game is completed and polished. Discounts past 20% off are not planned for in future sales until the point of the full game release. ”

How are you planning on involving the Community in your development process?

“Playtesters who believe in the game will be celebrated. In exchange for any substantial feedback, players can optionally request to have their name be included in the credits as playtesters, or for less feedback, as supporters. In addition to my many thanks! ”

About This Game

This ain't no ordinary Earth-based road house!

This one hops the universe, and is powered by beer... or to be more accurate: hyper-beer!

Get ready for a journey through alternate dimensions of roadhouse. Find love, secrets, an arch nemesis, snarky robots and stinky aliens, and serve enough hyper-beers to collapse all of 2D reality!

It will take many, many hyper-beers to end the universe!!!

In three different queues at a time!

Welcome to The Fog’s End: a roadhouse at an intersection of virtual dimensions where there are many thirsty travelers.

Some customers will be nice. Feed them beer and cocktails the universe's highest shelf of quality.

Some customers will be trouble-makers, jerks, or losers from the fake roadhouse dimension. Those customers, you gotta beat up.

VIPs are vital for your roadhouse. These VIPs are lost in the fog of this interdimensional roadhouse space. Lost until they see your OPEN sign light up.

You'll need to impress them with a bunch of flair tricks and then craft a top-shelf cocktail in a poker-inspired pours with MULT combos. Can you impress the connoisseurs with your zany concoctions??
Combine your collected top-shelf booze to craft a 'drink-poker' of exceptional quality to please the VIPs!

Some of the worst customers are super-drunk aliens that phase in and out of reality portals.

If these aliens can break your shielding, they'll basically wreck your roadhouse, causing you ton of costs in damages.

Use your smarts to keep these dastardly drunk aliens contained!

But not all drunk aliens are bad -- collect enough tips to hire a super-drunk alien dancer, who'll please everyone with her outrageous extra-dimensional dance routine.

No one ever bartended like this before, in gaming.

Each drink is a performance in The Fog’s End. You’ll need some good flair to impress your VIPs. Toss the glass, spin it, and do all sorts of tricks. So impressive!!!!!!!

As the days go on, you’ll need an increasingly a better roadhouse to entice fog-wanderers to stop by. Spend mojo and money upgrading your roadhouse: show lights, plants, seating, appliances, a games room, O2 bar, karaoke, and 70 more upgrades. The day time is for casual prepping, and the night time: pure chaos!

Keep customers happy and you'll be rewarded new blueprint cards. Collect and build enough matching upgrades in a set will unlock powerful new amenities that'll impress even the most picky and famous VIP guests, and provide you with a Booster ability to help your survive it all!

You have a magic interdimensional jukebox that can bring in over 150 songs from alternate dimensions, and multiversal cable TV, to enjoy in your roadhouse!

To keep hoping through interdimensions though, you need an engine -- and that's where your B.A.R comes in!  Through some super advanced neutrino quark anti-matter pulsons chronotriggers the B.A.R uses fusion-cooled beer to keep cool, and power the hyper-engines allowing you to hop dimensionally.  This game is deep like that!

But watch out -- a couple of hyper-beers too short and you may have a disaster on your hands!

If push comes to shove, you’ll have to deliver an occasional beat-down to keep the unruly guests chilled and reasonable. Punch, kick, and throw unruly guests down the stairs to prevent a giant bar fight from breaking out, wrecking your roadhouse!

Or, for a softer approach, collect tips to hire an alien dancer!

Many Unique Trouble-Making Thugs & An Arch-Nemesis!

The hard-ass robot bastard upstairs wants you to fail. He watches you closely, and depending on your success, will react by hiring henchmen.

Boxers. Keg-tossers. Drug addicts. Seductresses. Many unique types of trouble in this roadhouse! Even Xenu-calling scientologists will be sent for you to deal with, each with their own weaknesses, strengths, special abilities.  They'll get promoted or demoted depending on how they fare against you, and if you're unlucky enough, one will become your Arch-Nemesis!

AI Generated Content Disclosure

The developers describe how their game uses AI Generated Content like this:

RoadHouse Manager was mostly made by a single human over thousands of hours and 3 years of FT time development as a passion project, for the love of game design. As a solo dev without much artistic talent, I used AI to fill in a few content gaps including some art and all of the music (over 150 songs feature in the game), mostly all generated locally at home. In a flip of the majority of games on Steam in 2026, I wrote most of the code.
