“Spellslime is a labor of love by a solo indie dev. Getting the community involved will help shape the course of the game, allow me to dedicate even more time to growing Spellslime, and allow me to connect with all the lovely players out there.”

“About six months. After that, the game will move to 1.0 and continue to receive content updates in a complete state.”

“The inital version has three worlds, about 50 items, and a soundtrack sourced through creative commons. The full version will extend the game to five worlds, add new events, locations, weapons, upgrades, characters- a big expansion to the current playable state. I also want to commission a soundtrack. The expansion will complete the story. It will have more graphical and gameplay polish and additions based on community advice.”

“Currently, Spellslime is a fully playable rougelite with three worlds, inter- and intra- run upgrade systems, more than 10 locations to visit, and a wide variety of enemy slimes. My goal is to make sure that players can pick up Spellslime right now and have a full and enjoyable experience.”

“During early access, the price will be constant. Once the game reaches 1.0, the price will increase and remain at that final value indefinitely.”

“Roguelite games are an amazing format for community interaction. I plan to base items, locations, and added gameplay mechanics on player feedback. My goal is to make this game as fun as possible for the players, and what better way than to get direct feedback. I'll interact with the community, soliciting feedback and reading reviews to determine my direction. I may offer opportunities for players to have their ideas manifested directly in the game as well.”

Spellslime is a fast-paced rougelite adventure with chill and relaxing vibes. Leap, blast and spellcast your way through the Slimelord's horde. Gain powerful synergistic upgrades, summon the elements to defend you, and explore a world full of colorful, exotic locations.

Spellslime puts you in control of a weak but determined young slime starting a one-slime rebellion against the tyrannical Slimelord. Left with a magical inheritance shrouded in mystery and danger, you must fight to survive and find out the truth of your world.

Slimes of all shapes and sizes oppose you. Boost your strengths, find their weaknesses, and crush them into slimey submission before they do the same to you. Experience the thrill of permadeath, with risk and reward constantly dancing on a razor's edge. Defeat the Slimelord in one life or try again. When you die (and you will die), you'll unlock new spells, abilities, and upgrades to spice up your next life.

Challenging and varied combat, hundreds of upgrade paths to explore, three stunning worlds full of surprises, and the joy of smackin' some slime make for a heart-pumping and satisfying action game.
