What the developers have to say:

Why Early Access?

“We’re launching Sheva in Early Access to involve the community in shaping the game’s future. The core systems are in place, but we’re looking for feedback on design direction, combat pacing, and overall progression. We want to explore features like event-based decision moments, improved late-game variety, and eventually, PvP—and Early Access will help us make sure we’re heading in the right direction.”

Approximately how long will this game be in Early Access?

“We're aiming to stay in Early Access for approximately 6 months. This may shift slightly depending on the feedback we receive and how development progresses, but our goal is to refine the core experience and reach a full release within that timeframe.”

How is the full version planned to differ from the Early Access version?

“We plan to expand and refine the game’s content in several areas:
- Improved late-game pacing with new combat mechanics and event-based encounters that offer choices with gameplay consequences
- An improved tutorial and onboarding experience to better introduce new players to the game's systems
- Additional cards, talismans, and player skills
- Potential PvP mode, based on player demand and feedback
- General polish, balance adjustments, and quality-of-life improvements”

What is the current state of the Early Access version?

“The full core loop is implemented and playable. All 7 chakras, enemy types, and combat mechanics are in. The current version includes:
- 1v1 turn-based combat with simultaneous actions
- Over 100 cards with various effects
- Over 50 talismans and powers which provide combat bonuses
- Multiple character skills
- A complete single-player run from start to finish”

Will the game be priced differently during and after Early Access?

“No, we don’t currently plan to change the price when we leave Early Access.”

How are you planning on involving the Community in your development process?

“We’ll be gathering feedback primarily through our Discord server, where players can share thoughts, report issues, and discuss balance and design. We'll also monitor Steam discussions and share development updates throughout Early Access.”

About This Game

Master the Chakras. Master Yourself.

Sheva is a roguelite card-fighting game built around simultaneous decisions. Each turn, you and your opponent choose to charge, attack, or block — and both actions resolve at once.

Every choice carries risk. Attack at the wrong time and you’ll be punished. Block too often and you’ll fall behind. Charge wisely to prepare your next move.

Defeat all seven chakra bosses in a single run to unlock the final confrontation. Fail, and begin again — smarter, sharper, ready to adapt.

Commit at the Same Time

There are no reaction turns. Both fighters choose their move simultaneously.

Charge to draw a card. Attack to unleash your active cards. Block to defend against incoming strikes. Victory comes from reading your opponent and committing under pressure.

Conquer the Seven Chakras

Each run challenges you to defeat seven distinct chakra bosses. The order you choose shapes the difficulty and the rewards you’ll earn.

Survive them all to reach the final trial.

Cards That Shift the Fight

Cards do more than deal damage. They strengthen attacks, disrupt your opponent, heal, reflect damage, and alter how turns unfold.

The right card at the right moment can decide the duel.

One Life. One Run.

Every run is a fresh attempt. Defeat means starting over — but each attempt deepens your understanding and opens new strategic paths.

Face the Final Trial

Balance offense, defense, and foresight. Defeat the seven. Reach the end.

Are you ready?
