What the developers have to say:

Why Early Access?

“The Early Access version of the game is needed to let players know what this game is about, and will let me know what to focus on!
This version contains the major mechanics and weapons.
Since PixelPop 2087 is a project from a single indie developer, I need time and resources to work on bug fixing and QA in general. I also need time to implement all the mechanics that will lead the game to the final version.”

Approximately how long will this game be in Early Access?

“Until all the features will be ready and the final quality will reach the expected maturity.”

How is the full version planned to differ from the Early Access version?

“I plan to be able to insert the following features:
- New playable characters, unlockable while the player exp. grows
- New melee weapons
- Synergy between different effects (e.g. fire and poison, ice and electricity)
- New rooms
- New NPCs to interact with
- More detailed Lore
- Bug fixing
- Game-loop finalized”

What is the current state of the Early Access version?

“The game implements most of the basic mechanics that will be present also in the final version.
The game-loop, such as the characters power-up is implemented.
The unlockable characters are not present yet.”

Will the game be priced differently during and after Early Access?

“I plan to adapt the price to the contents that I will be able to insert in the future.”

How are you planning on involving the Community in your development process?

“The community will be able to give me any kind of feedback.
The idea is to provide a product aligned with the average feedback received, as I'm already doing during the gaming fairs, where I let players try the game and collect information about their experiences, such as bug reporting.
Of course, the implementation of these feddbacks have to be aligned with the final idea of the game”
