In one particular case, a famous author has been tied to their ghostly form for 100 years – Edgar Allan Poe. The masterful writer of the grim and macabre has one more story to tell, but year after year, something is missing.

Fortunately, this year, Death himself has a plan to help the lost soul. Professor Allen R. Newman, a lifelong fan and expert on Poe’s work, is recruited to help the author complete his final story, even if it means surviving some of his most infamously spooky stories in the flesh!
