What the developers have to say:

Why Early Access?

“To get feedback and build a community. While the campaign(levels) is mostly complete and unlikely to change significantly, the sandbox can be expanded and improved further based on player input.”

Approximately how long will this game be in Early Access?

“Between 3 and 6 months is planned, this timeline may extend if additional development time is needed.”

How is the full version planned to differ from the Early Access version?

“As previously stated the main goal is to improve the sandbox based on player feedback. Adding new levels is possible but not very likely.”

What is the current state of the Early Access version?

“The game is fully playable. The campaign has all 42 levels from original OCTOPTICOM + 12 new additions. The sandbox can be used to make and solve custom levels and experiment with custom designs. There are 15 new components available after level 44. The blueprints system is functional but can also be improved.”

Will the game be priced differently during and after Early Access?

“Yes, the price will increase slightly after leaving early access.”

How are you planning on involving the Community in your development process?

“Players can give feedback and discuss the game on the OCTOPTICOM subreddit, the Steam forums and in the octopticom channel of our Discord server.”
