Depiction of the protagonist's anxiety disorder in an allegorical form, appearing as gory violent deaths whenever they experience panic attacks. Deaths are not real in-world, but very graphic and meant to be impactful. Drugs and tobacco use occurs mostly off-screen and is mentioned by supporting characters.
