What the developers have to say:

Why Early Access?

“Till the End is a solo-developed game, and I want to involve the community from the very beginning. Your feedback will directly shape the final experience — from combat feel and character balance to new survivors, weapons, abilities, and story elements.
Early Access allows me to iterate quickly based on real player input while continuing development. The core loop (recruiting survivors, mastering their Power Suits, and fighting through escalating alien waves in a living sandbox city) is already fun and replayable, but I still have a lot of content and polish that needs to be added with the help of players.
My goal is to create a fast-paced arcade-style wave shooter where every run feels incredibly satisfying to play.”

Approximately how long will this game be in Early Access?

“We plan for Till the End to be in Early Access for 6 to 12 months, depending on how quickly we can implement community feedback and how much additional content we can deliver. As a solo developer, our pace will be steady but realistic. We will provide regular updates and communicate openly about progress.”

How is the full version planned to differ from the Early Access version?

“The full 1.0 version will expand significantly on the Early Access foundation. We plan to:

Add more playable survivors with unique personalities, backstories, and Power Suits
Expand the ruined city with additional districts and secrets to discover
Introduce new enemy types, mini-bosses, and larger boss encounters
Add deeper story chapters and more black-market shopkeeper interactions
Include more weapons, abilities, and meaningful progression systems
Significantly increase re-playability through new game modes, challenges, and meta-progression
Polish visuals, performance, audio, UI, and overall balance based on player feedback

Our goal is to deliver a much larger, richer, and more complete experience while keeping the fast-paced, empowering core gameplay intact.”

What is the current state of the Early Access version?

“The current Early Access build already contains:

A fully playable open sandbox ruined city
Three distinct Power Suits (Bushido, Centurion, and Magi) with unique playstyles
Core recruitment and progression systems — rescue survivors and permanently unlock their power
Fast-paced third-person wave combat with a variety of weapons and abilities
Multiple enemy types, escalating waves, and boss fights
Basic black-market shop interactions
Individual character leveling and permanent upgrades

The game is stable enough for extended play sessions, but still has rough edges, missing content, and areas that need balancing and polish. This is a true Early Access experience — fun and replayable right now, but actively growing with your help.”

Will the game be priced differently during and after Early Access?

“I plan to gradually increase the price as Till the End grows in content and polish during Early Access.
Early Access will launch at a lower price to reflect the current stage of development. As I add more playable characters, weapons, story content, districts, and features, the price will rise in steps. Players who purchase during Early Access will get the game at the lowest price and all future updates for free.
This approach helps fund continued solo development while rewarding early supporters.”

How are you planning on involving the Community in your development process?

“Community feedback is one of the main reasons I chose Early Access. I plan to stay very involved and transparent throughout development by:

Reading and responding to feedback on the Steam Discussions board
Running regular playtests and inviting players to test new content before it goes live
Sharing development updates through Steam Announcements, dev diaries, and patch notes
Prioritizing player suggestions for balance changes, new survivor ideas, weapon feel, quality-of-life improvements, and bug fixes
Hosting occasional AMAs or Q&A sessions on Discord and Steam

I’m a solo developer, so I can’t implement everything, but every update will be shaped by what the community enjoys and wants to see more of. Your input will directly influence which survivors, abilities, and areas get added next.”
