What the developers have to say:

Why Early Access?

“We chose Early Access to involve players directly in the development of Lunar Corps while core systems, balance, and content are still evolving.

Early Access allows us to gather real player feedback on gameplay flow, difficulty tuning, and co-op balance, helping us shape the final experience based on how players actually engage with the game.

The game is already playable, but we believe involving the community early will result in a stronger, more fun, and more polished full release.”

Approximately how long will this game be in Early Access?

“We expect Lunar Corps to remain in Early Access for approximately one year, with the goal of reaching full release around the next Lunar New Year anniversary (February 6th, 2027).

This timeframe may adjust slightly depending on development progress and community feedback, but one year is our current target.”

How is the full version planned to differ from the Early Access version?

“The full version of Lunar Corps is planned to be a significantly expanded and more polished experience compared to the Early Access version.

Throughout Early Access, we plan to add additional missions, maps, enemy types, and playable classes, alongside expanded customization options and progression systems. Co-op features, balance, and overall gameplay flow will continue to be refined based on community feedback.

The full release will also focus on improved performance, stability, and quality-of-life features, as well as broader platform and controller support.

Overall, the full version will represent a more complete, feature-rich, and refined version of the game, shaped by player feedback gathered during Early Access.”

What is the current state of the Early Access version?

“The Early Access version of Lunar Corps is fully playable and features a complete core gameplay experience.

Players can currently access the core combat systems, progression mechanics, and online co-op gameplay, along with finished playable missions designed to be replayable. The game already includes controller support, functional UI, polished menus, matchmaking lobbies, save systems, and progression.

While the game is stable in its current form, additional content, balance adjustments, polish, and quality-of-life improvements are still in development and will be added throughout Early Access based on player feedback.”

Will the game be priced differently during and after Early Access?

“Lunar Corps will be offered at a lower price during Early Access.

As development progresses and additional content, features, and polish are added, we plan for the price to potentially increase to reflect the expanded scope of the full release.

Players who purchase the game during Early Access will receive all future updates at no additional cost.”

How are you planning on involving the Community in your development process?

“We plan to involve the community throughout Early Access by actively listening to player feedback and using it to help guide development decisions.

This includes monitoring Steam forums and community discussions, sharing regular development updates and patch notes, and gathering feedback on gameplay balance, difficulty, co-op features, and quality-of-life improvements.

Community feedback will play an important role in shaping new content, refining existing systems, and improving the overall experience as development continues toward the full release.”

About This Game

THE SOLAR EVACUATION

The year is 2656. Our solar system is dying as the Sun undergoes a premature expansion, turning entire worlds into burning wastelands. Humanity’s final ships have begun their exodus to our new star system: Arcadia. Meanwhile, our military force—the Lunar Corps—has established fortified firebases and outposts ready for their arrival.

OPERATION BLACKOUT

But now, something is wrong. Outposts have gone silent, firebases are in lockdown and multiple squadrons are missing without a trace. A mysterious threat is spreading across the frontier, dismantling humanity’s foothold before it can take root.

GAMEPLAY OVERVIEW

Lunar Corps blends fast-paced first-person combat with tactical skirmishes across hostile alien environments. Explore abandoned firebases, uncover clues, reclaim territory, and push back the threat spreading across Arcadia. Battle alone or with up to three allies in a tight four-player co-op experience designed for quick action and strategic teamwork.
