“Early Access allows me to involve the gaming community early in the development process. By releasing SUBJECT in Early Access, I can gather valuable feedback, implement player suggestions, and refine the game based on real user experiences. This collaborative approach ensures that the final release meets the expectations of our diverse player base.”

“While the exact duration may vary based on the feedback and features I plan to implement, I anticipate SUBJECT to remain in Early Access for approximately 12-24 Month. This timeframe allows me to iterate on the game, introduce new content, and ensure a polished and feature-rich experience before the full release.”

“I plan to expand the game by adding features such as a more detailed Evolution Points progression system and mechanics like Remnant collection. My goal is to improve the psychological horror elements by introducing deeper sanity effects and more intricate facility interactions. These updates are planned based on the development process and player feedback.”

“SUBJECT's Early Access currently features core gameplay mechanics including first-person movement with stamina management and crouching. The game includes a functional inventory system for item handling and environmental interactions. Players manage their survival through health, stamina, sanity, and gas mask filter systems, with the sanity mechanic influencing both gameplay and visuals.
The initial release contains several facility areas with interactive elements, basic puzzles, and environmental hazards like gas and damage zones. A basic lighting system creates the game's tense atmosphere. The current multiplayer supports up to 4 players with basic movement and interaction networking, plus shared inventory visibility.”

SUBJECTS is a 4-player co-op survival horror game. You are a Raider, one of the desperate souls outfitted in an Epoch Syndicate suit, tasked with scavenging their supposedly old, abandoned research facilities. It seemed like a straightforward deal: retrieve valuable assets for ES, get paid, and contribute to their "cleanup" efforts. But beneath this façade lies a horrifying truth: these raids are merely another form of experimentation. The Epoch Syndicate tests your limits, your will, and your humanity, and no one who enters these depths ever truly leaves. Escape is an illusion; survival is your only desperate directive.

Deep underground, isolated and disoriented by Syndicate manipulations targeting your very mind, your identity frays as reality blurs. The line between sanity and induced madness thins with every passing moment.

THE SHADOW OF THE EPOCH SYNDICATE

The omnipresent Epoch Syndicate, secretly ruling the world, aims to forcibly evolve humanity through ruthless methods. They cunningly use 'Raiders' like you, equipped with suits and tasks, to clear out their old facilities – a convenient facade for their relentless, brutal human experimentation, where every Raider is just another unwitting Subject.

THE EVER-SHIFTING PRISON

Each "mission" plunges your team into a new, procedurally generated labyrinth. Fulfill ES-dictated objectives, extract loot for upgrades under their watchful eyes, and survive its hostile entities, power outages, locked doors, and deadly environmental puzzles. This entire "assignment" is a deadly, orchestrated test of your endurance.

CAN YOU REMAIN HUMAN?

ES documents your every struggle as your perception of reality is systematically shattered. Many Raiders have broken before you, their hopes extinguished. Though branded a Subject in their grand, horrifying design, can you defy their control and somehow still remain human?
