What the developers have to say:

Why Early Access?

“We offer Early Access to allow players to experience Urbex Murder from its early stages, give their feedback, and influence the final development of the game.”

Approximately how long will this game be in Early Access?

“Early Access is planned for approximately 6 to 8 months, allowing time to finalize game mechanics and add narrative and interactive content.”

How is the full version planned to differ from the Early Access version?

“We plan to add new maps, more puzzles, and a co-op mode where one player may become a hidden enemy after finding a secret item. Others will work together to solve puzzles, identify the traitor, and escape. We also aim to improve visuals, audio, and overall gameplay as development continues.”

What is the current state of the Early Access version?

“The game is currently playable, with the first areas explorable, a basic storyline, and core mechanics for investigations and environment interaction. Some advanced features are still in development.”

Will the game be priced differently during and after Early Access?

“The price will remain the same during Early Access. After the final release, the price may increase if significant new content or features are added, and any change will be clearly communicated in advance.”

How are you planning on involving the Community in your development process?

“We will collect feedback through Discord, social media and email, allowing players to report bugs, suggest ideas, and vote on upcoming improvements and content.”

About This Game

About This Game

Urbex Murder is a horror game centered on exploring abandoned places (Urbex), playable solo or in co-op with up to 4 players and featuring integrated voice chat. It offers several immersive game modes and maps. For example, in co-op mode, players must find a hidden object, but the one who discovers it becomes a secret enemy tasked with preventing the others from escaping. Players need to solve puzzles, identify the enemy, and rescue captured teammates.

Explore Abandoned Places

Experience the best Urbex adventure in this game. Exploring abandoned places is essential to discovering important information on the selected map, allowing you to progress and gain an advantage over other players based on the chosen game mode. Nothing is random; every detail matters. Find the generators to reduce the visibility of others, collect missing parts to drive a vehicle, move objects, or create your own traps to imprison an opponent.

Progress Through the Adventure with Your Friends

In co-op mode, you will have the opportunity to play different game modes available in the game and experience Urbex with friends. Choose the map, the game mode, and invite your friends using the invitation system directly integrated into Urbex Murder. The in-game voice chat will provide a better immersion, allowing you to speak only with nearby players and find a walkie-talkie on the map to give to a player of your choice for distant communication.

Diverse Maps, Unique Scenarios

Multiple maps available do not just mean a visual change. Each map has its own unique story and different mechanics that will be integrated. Each location on the map will affect the difficulty of progression. Depending on the selected map, you will encounter unexpected strangers. Replaying the same map will give you a different experience with random events.

Solve Puzzles and Rescue Your Friends

For a successful Urbex experience, you will have the ability to influence the progress of other players through game mechanics. Prevent your opponents from entering certain areas to waste their time. Set traps, immobilize a player in a location of your choice, and increase the difficulty for their teammates to find them. Barricade all exits, cut the power to more easily detect the location of opponents with their flashlights on. This is just a preview of the available mechanics, and there are many more to discover.

Mature Content Description

The developers describe the content like this:

The game contains violence and visible blood, which may be disturbing to some players.
