What the developers have to say:

Why Early Access?

“Far Horizons is a large-scale sandbox game with ambitious goals. Early Access allows us to build the game alongside our community, ensuring that development is guided by real player feedback rather than assumptions. We want players to be part of shaping the experience from the ground up.”

Approximately how long will this game be in Early Access?

“We expect Early Access to last 1-2 years. This timeline may shift depending on the scope of features driven by community feedback.”

How is the full version planned to differ from the Early Access version?

“We plan to add features such as multiplayer, crafting, survival mechanics, more block types, mobs, biome variety, sound and music, and mod support. These plans may evolve based on community feedback and development priorities. The core building and exploration experience is already playable today.”

What is the current state of the Early Access version?

“The game currently features infinite procedural world generation with caves, biomes, and trees. Players can explore, place and break 29 different block types, and save their worlds. The game runs on Windows and Linux.”

Will the game be priced differently during and after Early Access?

“We plan to increase the price as major features are added during Early Access. Players who buy during Early Access will always keep access to the full game at no additional cost.”

How are you planning on involving the Community in your development process?

“Through our Discord server, Steam discussions, community polls, and direct feedback channels. Feature priorities will be influenced by what players want most. Bug reports and suggestions from players are a core part of our development process.”

About This Game

A block-based sandbox game where you explore and build freely in infinite procedural worlds. No rules, no restrictions — just you and the world. Shape it however you want.

Build. Explore. Go Further.

Far Horizons is a sandbox game built from the ground up. Explore infinite procedurally generated worlds filled with sprawling cave systems, diverse biomes, and towering terrain — then reshape them block by block.

Features

Infinite Procedural Worlds
Terrain generated with layered noise produces plains, deserts, tundra, and mountains. Branching cave networks carve through the underground, with large caverns waiting to be discovered.

Block Building
Place and break from a selection of 29 block types — natural stone, ores, wood, glass, glowing blocks, and more. Every world is persistent and saved automatically.

Dynamic Lighting
A dual lighting system combines natural sky light with colored block light from sources like glowstone, bringing depth to caves and builds alike.

Your World, Your Rules
Far Horizons will never enforce rules on how you play, what you build, or how you run your servers. Your world belongs to you — not us.

Early Access

Far Horizons is in early development. The core of exploration and building is here, with much more planned. Expect rough edges — and expect them to get polished over time.
