“For the princely sum of £6.29 however, Death Skid Marks is a steal. This is a game that marries vehicular destruction with the depth and structure of something like FTL, and that makes for a fun game to delve into over short periods of time. The range of available stats, items and weapons ensure a good range of strategic depth as you build towards different vehicle loadouts, while the randomised nature of enemies, stages and boss encounters make the challenge unpredictable and at times painfully punishing. Sure, the action could have been a little better, but nonetheless, this is a surprising treat.”

“Death Skid Marks is a phenomenal title, with the potential to be one of this year’s greatest titles. It may not be a AAA title, but it has brought more joy and satisfaction, and extremely panicky near-death screams, than most other titles. It’s fun, it can be played over and over again, and there may have been one or two times I thought I was going to lose control of my bladder due to excessive laughter. It’s just that good.”

Death Skid Marks is an ultra-violent top down car combat game where you will kill countless numbers of foes in the most noble quest of all: getting to a kickass music concert. Fight groupies, rednecks, neo-nazis, religious fanatics, the police, robots, aliens, suicide bombers and your own self-destructive urges to play Russian roulette. Upgrade your car with parts and your crew with illicit substances, buy weapons and special items, fight using guns, melee and your driving skills. Travel 666KMs along route 666 and face increasingly impossible odds. Unlock tons of content such as cars and bumper stickers.

Death Skid Marks features a unique punk/metal soundtrack, unique art style, cutting edge low-fidelity cathodic screen graphics, random unpredictable runs, unique gameplay and two scoops of stupidity.
