Welcome to the special Next Fest early demo edition of Rivals of Aether II - for the duration of the Next Fest event, you can play online with people around the world, carry your progression over to the main game, and get a taste of what's in store for you when the game launches October 23!

• Character progression carry-over: Any character XP you earn in this demo will carry over to the full release of Rivals of Aether II. Earn XP, level up, and unlock awesome cosmetics for your favorite Rivals!

• Play as the entire roster: All ten characters we plan to have available at launch can be played in this online demo edition of the game - and that includes recently announced returning favorite Forsburn!

• Online & offline battles: Play locally or lab it out in training mode. Plus, queue up solo or with a friend for 1v1, 2v2, or free-for-all matches - and get an early feel for our smooth & solid online rollback netcode.

About This Demo

• Every Character Will Be Free: On top of a launch roster of 10 iconic Rivals, all future characters will be added to the game for free and customizable with an expanding library of awesome cosmetics.

• Clobber Friends And Foes: Duke it out against CPUs, embarrass your friends locally, or hop online with reliable rollback netcode - all in either 1v1, 2v2, or Free-for-All battles.

• Easy To Play, Fun To Master: Customizable controls and expansive, genre-original gameplay mechanics make this a multiplayer brawler that anyone can enjoy.

• The Aether Adventure Continues: In post-launch updates, experience an engaging and living world full of special event updates, new characters, additional modes, and exciting customizations and lore.

Shields, ledges, grabs and throws add new layers to the frenetic flow of combat in Rivals 2.
