Move or Die is an absurdly fast-paced, 4-player local and online party game where the mechanics change every 20 seconds. The very definition of a perfect friendship-ruining game.

Say hello to The Community Chest, the update that you helped make!

Hya there!

This might be a daring thing to admit in times of GDPR compliance hysteria, but we’ve been listening. We’ve been listening intently and we have just the thing to prove it – a whole new update focused on all the wants and needs of our awesome community, neatly bundled up in a chest you don’t have to pay for.

You wanted performance improvements and a more optimized experience, you got it! You wanted to see more of your designs and suggestions make it into the game, well… have at it! We even added 3 new characters loosely based on your antics. This is just the icing on the cake in terms of what this update has in store, but rest assured that everything is baked specifically to the community’s questionable taste.

Here’s what you made us do:
  • PERFORMANCE IMPROVEMENTS – Smoother than a baby’s bottom
  • BRAND NEW CHARACTERS – Millard the modder, Techie the tester and Archie the achiever.
  • NEW COMMUNITY–SOURCED MUTATORS - Velcro, Dirty Shoes, reworked Ghostly Jumps.
  • NEW LEVELS – may or may not be straight up boosted from the Level Building Contest.
  • NEW CONSUMABLES – New Splatter, New Flammable Head and a new Emote.

So there you have it, a whole new update dedicated entirely to you, the real MVPs. Now go on and try it out for size!

Have a great one,

Introducing the Monster Prom Mini Update

Hey peeps!

For the past few months we’ve been working (arguably) hard at publishing a brand new game called Monster Prom, which finally came out last week!

https://youtu.be/1z-cl_lCrTQ

It’s a multiplayer dating sim / party game featuring datable monsters, some kickass writing and very cool art! While working on the next big Move or Die Update we decided to sneak in this mini content patch as a birthday present to Monster Prom!

This short and sweet update comes with the following in-game goodies:
  • 3 New Characters (Miranda, Liam and Polly)
  • 3 New Trails (Spork, Turd and Illuminati)

Give a warm welcome to our new ghoulish friends and definitely check out Monster Prom while it’s hot (and heavy).

P.S. The update we've been working on since February is up next. It's a large update that focuses on community suggestions and performance improvements.

Keep being awesome,

~Rick

About This Game

20 seconds, constantly changing mechanics and a lot of yelling. These are the keywords that perfectly describe a round of Move or Die, the 4-player friendship ruining party game where rules change every single round. Slap your friends’ controllers out of their hands while playing on the same couch, challenge players online from around the world or pretend to practice offline with AI bots. Select what game modes you want to play from an ever-growing list of developer and community-generated modes, each with their own outrageous mechanics and level design crafted to promote hours of good old friendship-ruining fun.

Play online to gain XP and level up, unlocking awesome characters and game modes in the process, or try to work your way up the daily challenge leader boards where players go against AI bots in survival-like matches. As its name suggests, Move or Die forces players to take action. In fact, not moving literally makes your character explode. And, with just 20 seconds per round, Move or Die is a quick game to pick up, but a hard one to put down.

  • 4-Player Local/Online Multiplayer and Offline Practice Modes
Play as one of several outrageous characters on the couch with friends, online against people from around the world or battle devious bots offline.

  • Game Modes Galore

  • Easy-to-Learn, Fast-Paced Fun

  • Leveling-Up System

  • Daily Challenges and Missions
Work your way up the leader board and earn bonus XP by completing challenges and missions that change every 24 hours.

  • Regular Content Updates
New content, including game modes, characters and new features will be added on a regular basis to keep Move or Die’s friendship-ruining-o-meter high.

  • MOD Friendly and DRM Free
Build your own characters, game modes, mechanics, levels, soundtracks and more. Includes Steam Workshop support, as well as a super user-friendly level editor.

  • DLC Free...Always
