About This Game

Hardtrace is an exciting arcade multiplayer game that brings a new dimension to the world of tron-like and snake-like games. Up to 12 players on a single PC (or more over the network) can compete for maximum points during timed rounds. You drive a "Tracer" vehicle that leaves an intermittent trail of death in its path, and must use your skills and strategy to defeat your friends.

KEY FEATURES

INNOVATIVE MECHANICS:

- Portals: Create and jump through portals across the game board to reach points much quicker than your opponents.

- Instant cornering: Quickly change direction, accelerate, brake and surprise your opponents completely unprepared.

SPECIAL ZONES:

- Two Difficulty Levels: zones with high value points require more precise control and strategy. However, the risk taken is rewarded richly.

- Heated Battles: Inside these zones, everyone wants to be inside as soon as possible, so expect it to be tight.

CLEVER MECHANICS:

- Experience and Understanding of Game Mechanics: The key to winning is to understand and use all the advanced game mechanics. I will only hint that there is a way to get through portals faster than everyone else.

TENSION AND GRADATION:

-Save Points: points are saved after 10 seconds of not collecting, when a player is destroyed all unsaved points are dropped. Thus, being greedy may not be profitable.
