Meat Train is a FPS game where you operate a train thats uses MEAT for FUEL. Explore a wasteland where everything wants you dead, scavenge for weapons and loot. Upgrade the train and attempt to destroy an evil AI megafactory.

Miksi Early Access?

This game is mostly developed by 1 person, releasing in Early Access will allow me to build a community that can provide testing and feedback. The game has reached a point in development where it is fun to play but still far from complete, so getting people playing the game and giving unbiased feedback will help me prioritise what needs work and point to the stengthes and weaknesses of the game.

Miten kauan peli tulee arviolta olemaan Early Access -vaiheessa?

6-12 months. Maybe less if all goes well.

Millä tavoin lopullinen versio tulee eroamaan Early Access -versiosta?

Before leaving Early Access I plan on filling the map to feel less barren and more interesting to explore. The plan is to add more weapons, enemy types and refine the end game with feedback from the community.

Mikä on Early Access -version tila tällä hetkellä?

The current version features a large world with plenty of monuments to explore with varying levels of loot and difficulty. There is a decent variety of upgrades, weapons and enemies. The game world is sort of barren in places but I plan to add new monuments and more details with each update.

Muuttuuko pelin hinta Early Access -vaiheen jälkeen?

I plan to gradually raise the price after major updates or upon the full release.

Miten yhteisö otetaan mukaan kehitysprosessiin?

I intend to work closely with players through Steam and the Community Discord Server to address any issues or reasonable feedback. Although I have a pretty solid vision for the final version, I am excited to see what ideas people have for the game.

FIND A GUN AND GET SOME MEAT! THE TRAIN IS HUNGRY..

Find yourself in a wasteland full of zombies, monsters and machines that all want you dead.
You start with only a melee weapon and an oxygen tank to help you breathe.

Scavenge the world for weapons, ammo, scrap and upgrades.

The key to your survival is MEAT!

The MEAT TRAIN is your only hope of surviving, especially when the sun goes down...

You'll need as much MEAT as you can get.

Follow the train tracks and you will find many monuments to explore and loot, the further you venture from the starting farm area, the better the loot you will find - but also the harder the enemies will become.

UPGRADE THE TRAIN

Collect SCRAP by breaking crates and destroying machines.

SCRAP can be used to repair and upgrade the train. There are a variety of upgrades to unlock which you will need to survive.

DEATH IS A REWARD, EARN CASH TO SPEND AT THE GUN SHOP

Upon death, you earn MONEY for your Kill Count + Meat Collected + Scrap Collected during your run.
Money can be spent in the gun shop to unlock new weapons and gamble on a random weapon for your next run.

DESTROY THE EVIL AI MEGAFACTORY

Your mission is to destroy GRM (Global Resource Management): A rogue AI that poisoned the earth.

If you manage to overcome the basics of surviving this world, you can attempt to penetrate the defenses of the factory and cleanse the planet of the evil AI virus.
