Why Early Access?

“Solar Wave is a grand-scale 4X strategy with indirect control and a living economic model. To fine-tune the game balance, autonomous fleet AI, and economic simulation, we need active player feedback. Early Access allows us to develop the project alongside the community, ensuring the core mechanics feel polished and engaging before the full release.”

Approximately how long will this game be in Early Access?

“I expect the game to remain in Early Access for approximately one year. However, this timeline may shift depending on community feedback and the time required to implement new features and polish the gameplay.”

How is the full version planned to differ from the Early Access version?

“The full version will significantly expand the scale and variety of the game. I plan to unlock the entire galaxy for exploration and conquest, introduce new mission types, player abilities, technologies, ships, and enemy factions. Additionally, a dedicated skirmish/battle mode outside the main campaign will be added.”

What is the current state of the Early Access version?

“The Early Access version contains a fully playable campaign set in a part of the galaxy with dozens of sectors available for capture, economic and technological development, and large-scale space battles. The game core is fully functional.”

Will the game be priced differently during and after Early Access?

“I currently have no plans to change the price of the game upon its full release.”

How are you planning on involving the Community in your development process?

“I greatly appreciate the community's contribution, and many players have already contributed to the game's development. An official Discord server will be launched shortly after the Early Access release, in addition to the existing communication channels. I look forward to receiving feedback to build a better future for the Solar Empire together!”

Solar Wave is a grand-scale space strategy game with indirect control, where economy, war, and expansion unfold across entire galaxies. The 21st millennium. Humanity’s Solar Empire has conquered the Milky Way and now turns its gaze toward a neighboring galaxy. New worlds are already inhabited but that will not halt mankind’s relentless expansion. As an imperial governor, you shape the fate of colonies, command vast fleets, and decide the outcome of wars that span the cosmos.
