MASTER THE ELEMENTS

Arcane Mayhem is a fast-paced, top-down action roguelike where you master the elements and build devastating spell combinations. Battle through fog-shrouded regions, survive waves of increasingly difficult enemies, and draft a spellbook capable of clearing entire screens in explosive elemental chaos.

Victory requires precision and strategy. Weave through projectile patterns and land high-impact skillshots against enemies that charge, pull, and manipulate the battlefield.

YOUR ARSENAL

Wield the raw fury of Fire, Frost, and Lightning, or utilize versatile Unbound spells to define your run.

• Fill Your Grimoire: Collect unique Spellcards throughout your runs to expand your collection.

• Gain Mastery: Using spells earns Mastery XP. Reach total mastery thresholds to unlock new spells for your arsenal.

• Infuse & Adapt: Unbound spells start without an element but can be infused during a run to take on new properties. Infusing spells with elemental essence adds powerful bonus effects like fire explosions, piercing frost shards, or bouncing lightning orbs.

• Status Effect Synergy: Layer elemental ailments like Burn, Slow, and Chain-Lightning with a growing arsenal of status effects. Combine them to trigger elemental fusions—Combustion, Frostshock, and Firestorm—to melt through enemy defenses and clear entire waves in spectacular fashion.

THE CHALLENGE

Every run tests your reflexes and adaptability. Forge your build strategically while surviving diverse threats that demand both spell mastery and precise movement.

• Lethal Variety: Face enemies with unique attack patterns—charging units, projectile-firing sentries, and monsters that drop lingering acid pools.

• Artifacts & Shards: Discover game-changing Artifacts that alter your mechanics, or stack Stat Shards to scale attributes like Agility, Critical Power, Spell Haste, and Vitality.

• Tactical Drafting: You aren't locked into one build. Swap active spells with your reserve mid-run to counter new threats, and visit the Shop to purchase critical upgrades.

CONQUER THE REGIONS

Survive multiple distinct regions, each consisting of challenging arenas. Every region culminates in a showdown with a unique Region Boss—massive guardians that test every spell in your arsenal. Slay the final guardian to claim total victory.

PLANNED FEATURES

Arcane Mayhem is in active development. Coming soon:

• Class System (Equipment): Fundamentally change your playstyle by switching Equipment, such as Gemstones or ancient Urns, to modify attributes, spell loadout capabilities, and starting with unique innate effects.

• Mayhem Levels: Push your skills to the limit with difficulty modifiers for increased challenge and rewards.

• Endless Mode: Test your ultimate build against infinite waves and climb the Steam Leaderboards.

• Meta-Progression: Collect Arcane Crystals to permanently unlock new spells, artifacts, and equipment.

• New Content: New regions, enemies, artifacts, spells and more!
