Tenebra is a dark metroidvania that blends rich storytelling with souls-like elements in a hand-drawn 2D world. Journey with the Shattered One, a doll trying to understand why he was created, in a face-swapping adventure as he discovers new abilities through exploring, forging bonds with NPCs, and fighting.

SETTING AND PROTAGONIST

You awaken in a mysterious basement, your memories lost and your face shattered. As you regain consciousness, the only familiar sight is the ethereal light source above, beckoning you into an unknown world. Who made you, and why?

THE WORLD OF TENEBRA

Step into a fallen utopia where baroque elegance collides with alchemy. Though once flawless and flamboyant, many city districts now teeter on the brink of ruin. Some pockets of life persist amidst the decay, but other have succumbed to great sins and filth. Your choices will determine the fate of this fractured land.

MASKS

The main source of power for the Shattered One is his mask-shifting ability. Some masks may aid him in combat and exploration, but others work in mysterious ways, opening up new strategies.
